I didn't have high expectations of this toy. I didn't think a $30 remote control car would be much but a few minutes of fun then total destruction- but- tech has come a long way since I was a kid and I'm happy to say I was wrong. I have 2 small criticisms but they are minor. I thought we were getting the iridescent model (it's just grey, meh oh well) and it touts "under car lighting" which if there is any it's only the remaining light from the head and tail lights reflecting under the body, otherwise there are no intentional under body lights on my car. But hey, this is a $30 car, so I went with what I was given. Out of the box the drift wheels were on and yeah, it drifts- you'll be a drift expert if you weren't before - and has more speed and power than I thought a little remote control car at this level would have. It comes with a small screwdriver to change to the "street tires" that grip well and are fun for street and floor driving. Also comes with little cones for obstacle courses. 2 rechargeable batteries are included with a cord for charging. They seem a little fragile as the wires are thin and have an automotive wire connector so be careful when taking out/plugging in- it's nice to have an extra battery so the fun doesn't have to stop for a while. The controls are simple, one for steering, the trigger for forward and reverse, also has a speed boost. I've crashed it multiple times into walls, feet, rugs and it hasn't broken nor looks any worse for wear. It's good affordable fun!

This 1/24 scale drift car is slim on features, but packed with detailed styling. It has proportional steering, if a little jerky. It has springs on the front wheels only. The steering trim is adjusted via a knob on the bottom of the car. It comes with hard plastic drift tires and an extra set of wheels with rubber tires. With the rubber tires on you can get more traction and see how fast the car goes in a straight-ish line and realize it’s not impressive. But that’s okay - it’s a drift car. Leave the plastic tires on and drift! And at that it is pretty good. It has lights front and rear, like a real car. Steering response is okay. It could be better but it’s adequate for the price point. The transmitter is on the small side - perfect for a child’s hand, but just barely big enough for an adults hand. There are buttons to turn the lights off/on and to select the speed (two settings). It comes with a single 14500 rechargeable battery with an SM-2P connector and USB charging cable. Overall, I’d say for the price point, this little car is pretty good. The detailed body styling means this is one you can display on your shelf. It’s great for drifting around a hard floor. If you like drifting, check this car out.

Fun for kids and adults. The controls are pretty easily mastered, and it also has headlights and taillights that can be turned off an on. The drift is really great on our hardwood floors. We bought it for a younger child, but the older children have taken it over, so we may have to get another one. There are two batteries for the car so that one can be charging while the other is in the car.

Now I know for the price it's listed I shouldn't expect the batteries to last too long but I got about 5mins of play out of it before I had to swap to the replacment battery that it came with and start charging the other one. For someone who's not the best at figuring out battery alternatives that means I'm stuck with the batteries that it came with however the battery bay has pleanty of room for a larger and possibly better battery for those more experienced with DIY RC. It drifts perfectly and it easy to control, it does take a moment to learn how to control it but once it's there you're off having fun. I enjoy that it also reverses making it so you can pull off some pretty cool moves. The lights that turn on make it feel even more immersive and I'm glad it doesn't come with obnoxious pretend engine sounds like other RCs do as it helps me hear my level of throttle I'm using. All in all this is a great item if you have plenty of space in a tile or hardwood floored room as a starter user for drift RC cars.

Fun Indoor RC drift car that can sprint. This car uses dual brushed motors to power each front and rear diffs for speed but I highly doubt the 20kph advertised burst speed. I also like that this comes with 2 batteries which equates to double the play time of this beautiful Porsche 911 like rc car. The head light & tail lights added more simulation and realism of this rc car but I don't find any under glow lighting like it is advertised but not a big deal for me. Hope they add a gyro in the future and make steering proportional for better control. Great gift idea that won't break your wallet.

The RC looks pretty cool. It drives well, comes with two sets of tires, one being a plastic the other a more rubbery plastic. Isn’t the fastest but on slick floor will drift really well. Put it on carpet however and it won’t drift, there’s too much grip and it’s not fast enough to slide.

This RC drift model comes with both regular rubber tires for some good traction if you want to have that carpet racer feel, or you can use the drift tires to practice your skid parking etc. The model has very responsive steering and the throttle control is fine enough that the drift aspect is fun and not an exercise in futility. This has enough zip to really be a handful in a smaller area and would make a great entry vehicle for those wanting to try out the mini drift scene without breaking the bank on a high-end hobby shop model.
