Wow, this RC drift car has exceeded my expectations! I bought this for my son's birthday, but I think I'm having just as much fun playing with it as he is. Pros: Speed and Control: It's surprisingly fast for its size and handles really well. The drifting feature is a lot of fun, especially on smooth surfaces. Design and Build: The car looks really cool with its LED lights, and the overall build quality is solid. It feels durable and well-made. Battery Life: I was impressed with how long the battery lasts on a single charge. We've been able to play with it for about 30 minutes before needing to recharge. Easy to Use: Even though it's a remote control car, it's straightforward to operate. The controls are responsive, and we didn't have any trouble figuring out how to use it. Great Gift Idea: This would make an excellent gift for kids or adults who are into RC cars. It comes nicely packaged and ready to go. Cons: Honestly, I haven't found any major cons so far. It would be nice if it came with an extra battery, but that's a minor thing considering everything else. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. This is one fast little RC car. It's way to fast to be controllable. I wish I could have regulated the speed a little more. I had to swap on the rubber tires because the drifting tires made it almost unusable. Once the rubber was on it, it was fast, agile and really took a good beating. Bounded this thing off every piece of furniture in the house. Had to keep cleaning out the wheels as it picks up every bit of lint or dog fur floating around...if you have dogs, you know what I mean. We were having a blast running this around the house until my border collie Jayci decided she needed to put her herding instincts into over drive and she have it the Godzilla chomp. Now it looks like a Fast and Furious car at the end of the movie....but it's still working. It's a lot of fun...just need a wide open space and no dogs.

This RC car is very fast and easy to learn and play with. The remote control's connection with the car is responsive and has no issues with delayed inputs. My favorite parts about this car are its design, lights, and rechargeable batteries. It would have been nice if it were RWD, but I would also assume that that would impede the car's capabilities to effectively drive on different terrains. Despite that, the car is high quality and fun and easy to drive. I have enjoyed using it on cement outdoors and on hardwood floors indoors. Definitely a great RC drift car to play with and share with friends and relatives.

This RC car is fast -- best for a larger interior room or outside on a relatively smooth surface because of the low clearance between the body and the play surface. I like that it has the included rechargeable battery for the car; the controller uses standard AA batteries. There are two sets of wheels -- the "drift" wheels are just plastic with no real traction, so they spin a lot on the hard wood surface in my living room. I could swap them for the rubberized set, but then I'd have a really fast car in a small space. So this toy will go to the large synthetic turf track nearby for my child to play with there. My only real complaint on this is the car is smaller than I expected at 1:24 scale. 24 of these lined up I guess would equal a full size car -- I didn't do the math before ordering this. You can get a sense of the car size by comparing the controller and the car proportions in the photo that shows both together. Overall it is a good product and decent value for the price.

I suppose that the hard plastic tires are considered a feature on the car to make it "drift", though what they actually do is make it nearly uncontrollable on hard surfaces. It works well enough on carpet, though it's a bit slow, but on hardwood it's very slippery and on tile it's nearly uncontrollable. We haven't dared try it on our slightly rough concrete outside for fear that it will rough up the "tires" too much. It does include replacement wheels, but those will shred as well. We barely tried it on the hardwood before my nine-year-old put a stop to that, worried that it would uncontrollably smash into the wall. You have to really get it going fast to get it to drift on carpet. Also, the steering is a little tricky -- there is no turn for the first few degrees that you rotate the controller, then it clicks and starts turning quite a bit. And if you want to drift, you basically have to get up to full speed and then yank the steering wheel to get it to slide. The car does look great (we got the blue) and I think if we had access to a gymnasium with a wood floor it would probably make for a really great time.

Admittedly, I did not expect this toy to be so much fun. I don't really think RC cars are fun because of how basic they are, but this one is a blast. The kids, teens, and adults liked it, and seeing it running around the house was almost as much fun as actually driving it. If you are interested in this product, I do recommend you try it out.
