  • Good price
Bought this for my grandson. He enjoys it and tells me it's faster than his sister's.

  • Cheap overall product
Very cheaply made product. Looks and feels real flimsy, rides very slow. The batteries charge from the outside meaning you have to take them out and charge them individually outside the r/c car. Its also small.

  • Great little RC truck
Great little rc toy car. It is toy quality so don't expect high-end springs and parts. My 4-year-old loves it. The battery housings are well secured with a screw. It's nice that it comes with two batteries. I think this is a great value for the money. The size is about 1/14 scale. Everything functions well on it. The battery type limits the speed. It doesn't go very fast unless it's on a absolutely full charge. It's fun and just the right size for my kids. ... show more

  • Doesn't work well for me personally
When I saw this car I thought it looked pretty awesome and I immediately ordered it. The kids love RC vehicles so I thought this would be great for them. Unfortunately this has not lived up to my expectations. The best things I can honestly say about this car are that it looks cool, it's a good size with a fair amount of ground clearance, and it has good sized tires that are pretty soft and give good grip. In my personal opinion the performance of this car is very poor. I'm not sure if I got a dud or if they're all like this but from my experience the only thing this does well is driving in a straight line on a hard surface that's relatively smooth. When doing that it will get up to a fairly good speed both forward and backward but the turning radius is pretty big and when I turn it really slows down. I charged both batteries to full before beginning my testing so the issues shouldn't be anything to do with battery level. The first thing I noticed is that when turning the vehicle either loses power or bogs down in some way because even on a hard surface the turning isn't impressive and on medium thickness carpet it's very bad. It really doesn't work on a gravel road that's rough with bigger rocks or with thick, loose gravel. Same way in short cut grass, maybe a putting green would be better. I also noticed that when I operate the remote control trigger for either forward or reverse there is a large amount of travel of the trigger before the car will actually move. While the trigger is movement is increasing and the car is still stationary I can hear the motor whine/hum and increase in pitch until the car finally takes off. When it starts moving the rest of the drivetrain noise is pretty loud but to me it still sounds like the motor has a considerable whine sound to it. The battery life that I have gotten out of this is a fraction of what it is advertised to be. After approximately 5 minutes the straight line speed has slowed greatly and turning, even on a hard surface, is at a crawl. So in my experience there is not a lot of quality run time in comparison to the required charging time. The durability should be pretty decent because it spends much more time charging than it does driving. Overall this car isn't much fun for the kids. They like it a bit when it's first hooked up to a new battery but the poor turning and short battery life take most of the enjoyment out of it. Like I said, I'm not sure if there's something defective with mine but considering the way this one operates I would not recommend them. These are just my own opinions based on personally inspecting, charging, and operating this RC car. ... show more
