  • Best Cheep Rc Drift car, basher
The media could not be loaded. This truck is great, I bought it not knowing if I was into RCs anymore and boy did this think spark interest again! Easy to find parts that work for it through Amazon, I put some big beefy tires on it and have a brushless system on the way, overall. Great truck even if you leave it stock!! I have built Ramps with it, took it to the skatepark, bashed it through some grass hills, it has even seen rain before, absolutely stock, just make sure to dry the car out very well afterwards, I use an air compressor and blow the whole car out and then let it sit for 10 15 after a rain bash before using again, this thing has even fallen into my pool and was fully submerged for at least three good seconds, it was still on! I turned it off and blew it out with the compressor, let it sit outside near direct sunlight and it turned right back on and drove like nothing happened, overall this is a great truck, stock tires probably 18 19 mph no where near the 30 mph on the box but boy is it fun to drift around and bash, everything is easily upgradable, can’t wait for my brushless system to come so I can slap it in! Might even buy another one! Great first rc. I would like to update you guys that the controller broke and trying to find another one is very difficult, if you want the same exact stock radio you will be paying around 60 bucks, more then half of what the car is worth.. be very careful with the remote, I just ordered a second car that was I far many many parts and the controller again, just turn the controller wheel gently and you should have no problem. I found a cheep controller for 12 bucks that transmits the same frequency and works perfectly New Note this is an update This thing is sweet! I absolutely love it, I bought two of them, one I converted into a drift truck 🛻 see video, and the other one I’m making into a monster short course basher with bigger tires. On the drift truck I have bought oil filled shocks, plastic drift wheels, upgraded PXtoys motor, new receiver, because I got it wet :/ don’t get these cars too wet! A little bit of rain is okay but don’t accidentally sent it into the pool like me lmao. On the off road one I’m building I’m putting mudding tires on cut the body to make them fit, going to buy the same oil filled shocks, new servo upgraded PXtoys motor, these cars are so much fun and the possibility’s are endless on what you can do with them! Even stock they are fun! If you want to make it drift really good for no money put electrical tape on all 4 wheels evenly laid out so the tire is baled and go rip her on some pavement or sidewalk ... show more

  • Really Good SCT for the Price
I think for the price of this rc short course truck it is really good. Some of the things I like are the metal parts on the car. The lights are easy to remove from the front bumper if you don't like those, not so easy for the light bar. The car is strong enough to handle smaller jumps, I haven't tried anything too big yet. Brakes are really responsive and you can pretty much stop from full speed in a couple inches. The remote has a throttle adjustment of 1-10 which can be useful for kids and small areas. Things I didn't like the car goes slower as the battery dies out which is expected in cheaper cars. I don't like how the battery doesn't use Velcro to be held in place instead it has a bracket to go over it. The car overheats if you run the batteries back to back just give it time to cool down between them. There's not enough room for the normal sized lipo batteries and there's not too much you can do to give it more space. Things I would recommend doing is using a little super glue to hold the light caps on since those fall off easily on impact mainly on the light bar. ... show more

  • Great RC car, until it stops working.
Our kids have owned their share of RC cars. This is by far the best, fast, zippy, turns really well, we have done some really fun drifting on dirt and gravel. My son really loved the car. But 2-3 months later, it just stopped working. He is extremely careful with it, didn’t crash it or mishandle it in any way. Simply drove it and had fun. Then, nothing. We were sad to return it. We bought a second car thinking that was just a faulty one, since it had been more than 3 months, and the same happened with the second car, except this time it only lasted 2 weeks. I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you want to drive it for a couple of weeks, have a blast and then return it because it died. ... show more

  • Was not for us
This car did look good and felt well made but there was several things that we (my 12 year old and myself) did not like. Even at the highest speed it had issues one was continuing a push though grass (the grass was just about the height if the tires) and if it ran over anything in the grass it would get stuck. The light bar on the top also we did not care for (but could of loved with a remodel) the power cord fits through a hole on top and plugs into the car but the wire is way to short it needs to be at least twice as long, my picture does not show distance very well, the cable is twisted a bit but still even pulled straight its very hard to get pluged in and out and you will do this many many times. When changing the batteries. We also did go though a few centimeters of water a few feet long and the car stopped working for a min before it started going again. We sent it back. ... show more

  • Pretty cool. Good value so far.
Cool little machine. The remote is particularly cool which allows you to adjust the speed, turning radius , and trim the steering on the fly. No need to adjust on the car. This comes in handy after my 6yo is done driving it and it's daddy's turn. Cranked up, it's too fast for the kiddo. Convenient to be able to control speed at the remote. Happy with it so far. Too knew to weigh in on long term performance. I'd recommend for a starter or gateway obsession to RC hobbies. ... show more

  • Low quality plastic
Biggest issue is plastic is cheap, already has scuff, scratches, and peeling parts but my son has fun playing with it
