First off the test is spendy but you get what you pay for. Solid construction with many options, so we'll thought out. I tested it out on a -5 degree night and was toasty. If you want to be comfy, get this tent!

    • This tent is a monster. 40 mph winds , sub zero temps and a foot of snow all in one week!
This tent is a monster, made it through high winds , snow and sub zero temps. I’ve had it about a month now and have absolutely no complaints. I bought the smaller stove which keeps this tent hot .

Difficult to set up. Frame bent and broke after second setup, rendering tent useless. Otherwise nice tent.

After watching several videos (survival Russia/ far north bushcraft) and researching "hot tents" we decided the UP2 with the insulated floor was our best choice. I was reluctant to buy this tent because of the price and my own inexperience with winter camping. After easily setting the tent up I was amazed at its quality.The carrying bag, the stitches, the windows, and metal frame were made with attention to detail! Took my first overnighter on a mild winter day (30 degree F) and I stayed plenty warm, even with an older military stove.I plan to take my tent out this summer but i am really looking forward to cooler weather when i can hopefully purchase a medium wood stove from Russian Bear Market. Almost a year later i had some questions and contacted RBM. Even their customer service was outstanding. Tatiana at RBM quickly responded and was VERY helpful. This product was made with pride and well worth the price tag. I look forward to more adventures and more products from this company ... show more
