My 8yo grandson had a Razor 250 and had quite outgrown it in one summers use. Santa was looking to upgrade to something in the hopes he'd have for a couple years. This bike was easy to assemble. Has a strong motor, and holds a decent charge. It is large enough that it should support multiple summers, and small enough so that when he drops it, he can safely stand back up on his own. Bought this for my sons 8th birthday and he LOVES it! I was worried it would be too big fir him but it fits him great. He can ride it for hours with no problem. I gave assembly 4 stars because we had some trouble getting the brake rotor in between the pads, but all we had to do was loosen the caliper up a bit to slide it in. I would recommend putting the handlebars on first so you can set it upside down to attach the wheel. Great little dirt bike. My husband even rode it around. As a father who wants to keep his boy happy. This thing has been in my shop more than the yard. First thing was the free wheel sprocket. That didn't last after the 2nd repair. I welded it up. The front forks are stuck in the clasps position I believe. The rear shock has so much play in it that it rattles. I've tighten the bolt but it needs to have a bushing. My son is 78 lbs on the mx650. The bike shouldn't even know he's on it. So I don't know if we got a lemon or if my son is just to much for it. But everything needs to be upgraded to a better quality. And to beat it all he has two gas bikes (ttr110 & crf100) that he rides in the woods and trails. And only rides this thing in the yard. ... show more

Great bike, perfect for our 10 and 12 year old boys, both hopped on and didn’t skip a beat and will be able to ride for years given the size. Can’t speak to longevity but great so far. You should know it comes in large carge board box (well packaged) that does state clearly on the side what is inside. Ordered same time, same day with two day shipping, carefully calculated around my days off for delivery. One came in one day, a day early, and ruined Christmas surprise, the other came in 2 days as expected. Needless to say VERY VERY VERY unhappy about that, but unrelated to function of bike, so no star deduction. ... show more

My son hasnt had this bike but for a little over a month & the battery ALREADY broke! He has never plugged it in ,I have & I did it very delicately. The bike is amazing,the battery longevity was awesome but for plug in prongs to already break I'm not happy! EVERYTHING else is great my 9 year old loves it & so do his friends! ... show more
