It is being used to clear crap off of glass cooktops and it does a terrific job on this use. You may have not thought so, but it works perfect for it. This product works great on glass top stoves and anything that has a slick surface. I was surprised that it was easy to scrap off the baked on ring around the eyes on my stove. I used it on a glass outdoor table that had some paint splatted on the top and I was able to scrape off the paint. The blade is just a regular razor blade and it comes with several replacement blades; however, what is great about the product is the tool holds the razor blade at an angle that makes it easy to use and scrape, and you don't have to worry about cutting yourself by just trying to hold a razor blade to scrape. ... show more

I bought this in Oct. 2023, it is March 2024. I went to use it tonight and the blade broke. No problem, there are replacements. The only problem is the blades in the storage were all rusted. Although it was a good thought, the storage is not water proof so when you clean the tool, over time, the replacements will rust. I lost 5 blades, but luckily I knew where I stored the remainder blades to be able to replace. Also, since its been 5 months I didn't know there was a storage to even look for the blades and there is nothing written on it to remind you. When I went to replace the blade, I went to this product to see how I would go about doing that. Turns out it was extremely simple, once I found the directions on the internet. Like, stupid simple, but I had to find the instructions to do it. Overview: I do recommend the product. It is durable when putting the majority of your strength onto the scraper to clean the stovetop. It is made well, quality product, the retractability is super easy with no difficulties. It is easy to clean as well. Some companies have great ideas with poor executions, a simple rubber seal would prevent the blade storage to rust the blades within. If looking for a scraper, look no further! This scraper has an awesome grip surface! Wont slip out of your hand. Comes with a total of 16 blades, 1 installed in scraper, 10 wrapped, and 5 preloaded in storage compartment. I tested the storage compartments capacity and it can fit 10 blades in storage comfortably, and 11 or 12 tightly. Changing the blade is easy, just position it top position (black button slid to the top) and slide out previous blade sideways. When blades in working position (black button slid to middle), it works great no issues with handling nor performing, I tested blade with weight against to see if could handle tough scraping jobs without forcing the blade back into itself like i have experiencwd with other scraoers. It passed with flying colors and handles weight against blade fine without retracting itself! If in need of scraper this is a must have! ... show more

When e bought our house, the previous owners left the stove with large rings of burned on grease around each of the burners. Try as we might, and with many different products, we simply could not remove those from the stove, and learned to "live with it." Fast forward a few years, we decided to sell the house, and I stumbled on a YouTube video showing how to clean this off with a razor blade. I was shocked. Mostly because I did not think about doing that, because I thought it would damage the top. I ordered a cleaning kit with scraper and that scraper broke in about five minutes. I ordered THIS scraper and it was an absolute ease to use. The blades are easy to replace and if you get the right angle, it worked like a champ, removing about 99% of the junk we lived with for years in a matter of minutes. I used this to scrape off old window tint film. It worked good for me. The only issue I had was that it’s easy to over extend the razor blade slide button…..that’s the position you want it in when replacing the blade but not when using the product. You have to make sure it’s in the proper position b4 using….no big deal just an FYI. ... show more
