The Weight Loss Champion—Pure Performance, No Fluff, Just Wins
Color: Black
If you're an FPS maniac and every single gram matters, the Razer Viper V2 Pro is basically a cheat code. Razer stripped everything unnecessary off the original Viper to make this thing weigh just 58 grams. That’s insanely light. It’s a pure, unadulterated esports tool built to give you the fastest, most precise aim possible. If you don't care about RGB lights and just want to dominate, this is the mouse for you. Featherweight, Heavyweight Performance (Speed & Weight) 58g Ultra Lightweight: This is the headline. The weight reduction is noticeable immediately and makes large, fast flicks feel effortless and quick. It’s lighter than the famous Logitech G Pro X Superlight. Flawless Wireless: Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless is rock-solid and lag-free. You get that wired performance feel without the cable snagging—and you can even run it at a blistering 4000Hz polling rate with a separate dongle. 90-Hour Battery Life: You can game for days, maybe even a week, without thinking about charging. When you do charge, it uses a modern, snag-resistant USB Type-C cable. Tech That Wins Games (Sensor & Switches) Focus Pro 30K Sensor: This is one of the most accurate sensors on the planet. It tracks flawlessly on almost any surface, including glass, and uses smart tech to maintain a consistent lift-off distance no matter what mousepad you use. Gen-3 Optical Switches: Say goodbye to the fear of double-clicking! These optical switches are rated for a ridiculous 90 million clicks and feel incredibly snappy, giving you instant, tactile feedback on every shot. The Trade-Offs (Why It's a Specialist) No Bling: They ripped out the Razer Chroma RGB to save weight. This mouse is all business, no party. Right-Hand Focus: To shave off grams, the buttons on the right side were removed. While the shape is still symmetrical, it's really optimized for right-handed users. Pricey Specialist Tool: This mouse is expensive and is not really built for work or MMOs. It is a specialist tool built to win competitive FPS games. Final Verdict: The is one of the best mice available for competitive FPS gaming. The hyper-lightweight design combined with the cutting-edge optical sensor and switches creates a near-perfect aiming experience. If you play shooters and have the budget, this mouse is absolutely worth the investment, but be aware of the infamous scroll wheel issues that some users report over time. ... show more

A mouse for perfectionists and competitive gamers A mouse for perfectionists and competitive gamers
Color: Black
Review Image by Marshall
If you're a gamer like me, you always want the best of the best for anything that you do, you're a perfectionist in every sense of the word. I've competed in competitive FPS titles such as CS:S, CS:GO, Overwatch, and Valorant for the past 12 years, and tested over a hundred different mice myself. This mouse is perfection defined in every aspect of the word. The Pro V2's Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, manufactured by Pixart in collaboration with Razer, is one of the few flawless mouse sensors on the market. Flawless mouse sensors are sensors that have 0 inaccuracy translating your hand's movements -> in-game/mouse movements, and have no acceleration or smoothing enabled, giving you 1:1 movements that leave your aim feeling consistent and smooth every day. The Focus Pro 30k is a modified version of the PMW-3399 (flawless sensor), has the highest possible DPI/CPI of any flawless sensor at 30k DPI (not that anyone needs to ever go that high in reality), and will give you the best possible gaming experience with no mouse skipping or pixel skipping, no input lag, and the option to add a HyperPolling Dongle to allow the Pro V2 to boost up to a 4000hz polling rate. This gives you the exact same performance as a dedicated, wired mouse at above 1000hz consistently, with a tremendously long battery life, and weight perfect for any type of gamer. While many people may tell you that above 1000hz doesn't matter, or that your eye can't see more than 30fps(???!), I can tell you from thousands of hours of experience that going from even 1000hz-2000hz on the Pro V2 is a noticeable improvement both in-game and out. You will not regret purchasing this mouse, and it often goes on sale for a reasonable price, beating out its only true competitor, the Logitech G Pro Wireless Superlight, in every category and trait possible. From its shape, weight, sensor, performance, and battery, the Viper Pro V2 wins every time, and it will help you begin on the path to winning every game. The only improvement you may want to make to the mouse is purchasing a pair of aftermarket skates, but out of every company I've found that Razer has the best mouse skates out of the factory, usually don't need to be replaced, and really just depends on your preference of feel. I own at least 30 gaming mice, and I have the 4 mice I've found to be best previously that I leave on my desk: 2 modded G Pro Wireless Superlights, a Hati-S ACE, and a Zowie Divina S2, and I have yet to plug any of them back in since buying the Pro V2. ... show more

Great mouse, the USB-C port makes a huge difference.
Color: Black
I've been using the Razer Viper V2 Pro for a bit since I bought it, and honestly, it's been going really well so far. It's insanely light and feels great for fast-paced gaming. The wireless connection is flawless with no lag that I can notice. But honestly, my favorite part compared to the older version is that they finally gave it a USB-C charging port! The clicks feel nice and crisp too. Definitely recommend it if you want to upgrade your setup. ... show more

Great product, ridiculous customer service.
Color: Black
I bought one and it was terrific, a wonderful mouse to use. So I ordered a second. Took a while before I used the second one - it worked fine initially with a nice soft and flexible wire. But with use the wire started twisitng like old telephone coil cables used to twist. The wireless feature did not work - something must be wrong with the dongle or maybe the communications between mouse and dongle. After many interactions with customer service I learned a) a replacement dongle is not available for purchase b) there was something wrong with my initial setup of a Razer account or with my product registration. c) Ultimately I was informed that the purchase (from Amazon) was not through an authorized dealer so I should contact the dealer for support. d) The customer service is ridiculous. Each sappy email about understanding how you feel comes from a different name. Then you are asked to submit information that might take some of your time to respond, yet the next day or two another email arrives saying that they will close the case because they had not heard from you... e) Razer managed to take an enthusiastic buyer who bought two of these mice and would buy the new update, and was willing to purchase a part rather than look for warranty coverage, and turn him into someone who will likely never buy another Razer product ever, ... show more

Superb tracking, but...
Color: Black
So far I really like this mouse. Compared to my older Logitech G900 this mouse tracks better, is lighter, scrolls easier, and comes with grip tape. The Razer has two extra buttons on the left side, while the Logitech has two on the left and two on the right. But I found the two on the right side to be largely unusable, so I don't mind. The Logitech is also a bit taller, which I haven't decided if I like better or not. Response is instant and the mouse is light as a feather. For the first time ever I feel like the mouse pointer is reading my mind. The only real downside is that the button to change the DPI is on the bottom of the Razer, making it useless if you need to switch quickly without losing your tracking. But that hasn't been a big deal yet. The Razer software is pretty good now. Much better than it was a few years ago. You can set custom profiles for individual games. ... show more

Good, reliable mouse for a great price
Color: Black
Love the mouse for $60 (when I purchased it). Great nd reliable mouse. Sensor is precise with no noticeable hiccups, size and shape feel good in my hands, scroll wheel is smooth and quiet, and clicks are not quiet but not terribly loud. I have had no issues, but read below for a little lore drop: I had the razer viper ultimate for a while. Eventually, the encoder and rubber sides wore out beyond my liking, so I decided to look for replacement options. I tried another brand, but it had terrible sensor issues that made playing any game that relied on aim a mess. Moving the moude too fast would cause the tracking to stutter and micro movementd were not smooth but seemingly static (movements too small would not get tracked, essentially). It was frustrating. Assumed it was a QC issue, so I managed to get it replaced, but did not have any luck--different mouse, same issues. I gave up and looked back at the Razer and saw that the predecessor to the viper v3 pro, which was the mouse that I had been wanting, was on sale for $60. Even though it was no v3, I settled on the v2. So far, it's been nothing but amazing, especially after my previous experience with the other brand. ... show more

Same feel as the v1 but lighter and less extras
Color: Black
Not a huge gamer but I'm sort of picky with my mouse feel and size. I tried a few different mice and my previous main mouse was the Glorious Model D, both wired and wireless. It's been a great mouse but I found the wireless version battery doesn't last more than a day and it's been "wired" almost full time. Started to be frustrated with all of the cables on my desk and tried to find another wireless that fit my hand but also wasn't super heavy, low latency and had good battery life. From the reviews, the top gaming mouse was the Logitech G Pro X, very expensive but I wanted the lowest latency possible. While the performance of the Pro X was great, the body feel was very cheap and almost like a plastic Easter Eggshell. The body also felt too slick and combined with the extreme lightweight just didn't vibe with me. For work I have a Razer v1 Viper wired, it's good but the buttons feel slightly mushy, so I didn't check Razer for a gaming replacement at first. Later I ended up buying a Razer v1 Viper wireless, and looks like they fixed the buttons, they were very snappy and the latency of the wireless was almost the same as the wired. After such a positive experience, I was going to buy another v1 but with the news of the v2 coming out I held out. From the first out-of-the-box experience with the v2 Viper, I first noticed they removed the dock and there's no longer any quick charge ability. Honesly, this isn't a big deal, if you need to charge the mouse, just plug it in, and use it. With the dock, it's sitting on the stand, taking up space. The mouse is now USB-C which is nice, comes with the same very flexible cable, and the wireless dongle has a nice extender where you can have sitting as close to the mouse as possible (reduces latency). What's the biggest change on the mouse? It's very noticeable of the weight reduction, it's about 12g of difference, but at 58g, it still feels very solid (much better over the Pro X). The body of the mouse is the same as the other Vipers, it's slightly rough but doesn't feel cheap, fitment is great in my medium hand. It is worth noting Razer had to remove a few features of the v1 Viper in order to reduce weight. One thing is it's a solid black mouse, I love the new look. The only indication of any LED's is a very small dot right below the mouse wheel, this indicates the battery charge. There's no other LED's on the mouse so keep that in mind if you're looking for matching the keyboard. Another change is the removable of the right side "thumb buttons". The v1 Viper allows for right and left-handed use, but the v2 Viper only has the buttons on the left side (for the right handed user). A nice bonus is the included grips (four pieces, two side stickers, two for the buttons), these are very grippy type of rubber. While I haven't owned the v2 Viper wireless long, it has great latency on the wireless side and with the light weight doesn't feel any more than my wired mice. The pricing is a bit steep but it's on par with other high end gaming mice, I would choose this over the other brands based on the Razer fits my hand the best and has the best click feel. Downsides? The biggest issue is the auto-installer for the Razer software. I'm sure the software is not too bad but having the prompt every time is frustrating. I often use a Razer mouse for my work laptop and given the security issues, prefer to not see this app auto-execute. ... show more

Top gaming mouse for the price
Color: Black
It's widely known that Razer is one of the top mouse manufacturers. I've had a long line of Logitech devices, but I haven't been as big a fan of the latest generation. After shopping around a while I found this on very deep discount right around Prime Day. It is extremely light and responsive. I've paired this with a nice mousing surface and it feels like the polling rate and good pickup lend themselves to really great accuracy. I generally prefer a wider mouse with a more palm style for long gaming sessions, but this has to be one of he best claw-style mice I've ever used. It's very ergonomic and feels great in my hand, which is on the larger size. The wireless functionality is great, but I use the cord so I don't have to worry about battery life. I've heard that the overall longevity on a full charge is great though, and my friend rarely complains about having to plug in while we're online. While it's still available, the V2 Pro is an amazing value if you're not an eSports competitor looking for that just little bit extra. ... show more
