Top Amazon Reviews

  • Do a little research.
Color: Classic Black Size: Headset Style: Nari Essential
I have noticed that most of the 1 star reviews are from kids trying to use the wireless on xbox, which a little bit of reading would have told them from the start that it wouldn't work. That aside, This is a solid headset for the price. It is very comfortable, even while wearing glasses. It can be a bit heavy after a couple hours, but really we shouldn't be sitting at the PC gaming for 4 hours straight anyway, so I can't really gripe there. The battery is good, I literally can't imagine playing for so long in one sitting that the battery dies, and if it does, either YOU forgot to charge it over night, or YOU have some serious life problems and time management skills to work out. Sound quality is standard, nothing amazing but works well, and the virtual 8-speaker THX works exactly as intended from all the games I have tried so far. The ear cups cancel sound well enough, but they aren't true "noise cancelling" as far as I am concerned. Probably not a bad thing if you don't still live with Mommy. Gotta answer the doors and pretend to be an adult. Overall, its a great headset and the price is right, on par with Corsair Void or Logitech G-series. It really is a shame that kids who don't do their research first are allowed to make bad reviews to mask their own negligence to market research. ADVICE: if you plug in the wireless adapter and get very little sound, poor mic quality, or faint recording, PLEASE try a different USB port. There is a difference between USB 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 and you want to be certain you are at least using 2.0. DO NOT USE the USB ports on the front of your PC, They are not shielded like the rear I/O and they are much more common to give issues with sound from these kind of devices due to interference. ... show more

  • Worst headset for the highest price
Color: Classic Black Size: Headset Style: Nari Ultimate
This is the worst headset ive ever bought, even without considering the insane price. I have a pair of really cheap turtle beaches that are better than these in every category other than comfort and appearance, and they cost a literal fraction as much. When I first used these I thought they were faulty, but thats just how they sound. Then I tried using the mic with some friends, and they said I was not only too quiet but also gave THEM an echo. How thats even possible is beyond me. The mic that comes out is way too short and picks up background noise more than my voice. I downloaded synapse and messed with the settings for hours and no matter what I did they were still horrible. Then the best part is the battery life. These things die in a couple hours. Its pathetic. The haptic crap is just a party trick. Its definitely not a game changer. Also they advertise these as a metal frame and they are almost entirely made of cheap plastic. Combine all that with the massive 200 dollar price tag and I feel like I just got mugged. I would give these a 0 if it was an option. ... show more

  • The most immersive piece of gaming hardware I own.
Color: Classic Black Size: Headset Style: Nari Ultimate
EQ: First of all I gotta say I never managed to get the EQ to sound true or have that good mid range without sounding a little hollow. My astro A50's are much better for me in this regard. Secondly I gotta say I could not possibly care less about this as the haptic functionality in gaming is so cool that my A50's have been sitting docked since I got these. I admit I am not an audiophile so I suppose my criticism on mid range sound quality means little and less but I wanted to be honest. Haptics: The haptics are the coolest immersive addition to my PC gaming and I can't shutup about how cool these are. My friend at work told me about them and since I love trying new tech I gave them a try. Imagine playing a mech game and feeling the vibration of your heavy machine running on the ground in the base of your neck. (Not painfully just present, unless you max the haptics in which case it can be too much.) You can adjust the intensity of the vibration and the coolest thing about it is the vibrations are not either on or off, but they match the vibration frequency of the sound in the game. Like a low frequency sound wave slowly vibrates, and thus the haptics vibrate slowly (exact to the sound they are matching in as far as I can tell) and feel accurate to the sound you are hearing so that you feel it like you were there. It is incredibly cool. When you take off with your afterburners you feel the air cutting vibrations of your jet or mech slightly moving your neck and head. Also the surround sound functions work great and it works with Dolby Atmos. Cost: These are expensive. I think that's basically an early adopter cost for new tech, but even if that's not the case I find myself finding reasons to use these even when I would otherwise just use speakers because I really enjoy them, not just the justification of the cost. ... show more

  • The worst product. Razor should be ashamed.
Color: Classic Black Size: Headset Style: Nari Essential
I have always thought of Razer as a reputable company. I spent around $130 on a headset that completely fell apart after a little over a year. This headset was worn by an adult who still has items from his childhood, he takes good care of his things. But these headphones are the worst yet. I have headphones from Walmart that I've had for 5 years and they didn't fall apart like these. When I contacted Razer they said it was customer induced damage. Really....really. Never ever again will I purchase any item associated with the company Razer. And after reading other reviews on Amazon I see it is a common problem work their headsets falling apart and Amazon should really look into this matter since they are the ones selling the product. ... show more
