Perfect for Mobile, Good for desktops and laptops with a few tweaks

I was at first hesitant to buy these, since at the time of my purchase, the reviews for this product were not too good. Mostly complaints about sound quality during gaming mode, as well as complaints about basic grievances of using bluetooth instead of wires (bandwidth). However, after investigating some of these issues, I came to the conclusion that they could be circumvented with a bit of wit and mild tinkering. I opened the headphones at Christmas, but since I am foreign, a family member brought the package to our country. First impressions were great! -Beautiful color -Very good noise canceling -Nice seal on the ears -and as was expected, a good fit for a big head like mine. First thing I did was connect the headphones to my phone, and use the Chroma and Audio apps to tune them to my liking. The apps arent perfect, with a slightly confusing UI, but I managed with some help from my brother and tested them out. I went on a call, and they sounded marvelous! Bluetooth 5.0 ftw! Next I paired them to my laptop after I used the chroma app to disable gaming mode, so that the low latency alterations wouldnt mess with my sound quality. I have yet to try them during a call, but since it worked with my phone, which was BT 5.0 compatible, im confident the same will apply to my Laptop. Its 5 years old and absolutely not BT 5.0, but its nothing that cant be fixed. Just get a bluetooth dongle or use a separate microphone in calls for discord. Make sure you choose the headphone option as your audio device, as the headset option will only work if youre using the same device for input and output, and it will also nullify all audio aside from discord. My wife LOVES these! Sounds great

I bought these for my wife, and they’ve been great! I’ve seen reviews from some snobby self-proclaimed “audiophile” types of dorks saying the sound quality is cheap, but their opinion is mostly ego. These headphones are actually very good. I am a sound engineer, gigging musician, and recording engineer. I have very expensive mixing/engineering headphones, armature driver in-ears ( 5 drivers per ear), and often use Aeropex bone conduction headphones when outside, working, exercising, etc… My live gig setup is Bose. We use higher end Sennheiser and Audio Technica mics. Point is…I use good sh!t, and nerd out on my audio gear. SoI fell at least somewhat (humbly) qualified to compare these to a multitude of headphones (I have 10 different brands of headphones, from a variety of price ranges) and varying degrees of sound quality. These are very good in regards to full sound quality (more than the average person needs). They are awesome for everyday regular use like watching movies and listening to music. Especially if you want to go into the app and tweak the EQ, they are GREAT for this price! My wife has the colors fading between blue and pink while they are on, and they are pretty cute to be honest. We use our headphones connected to our TV while watching movies late at night so we don’t wake up the rest of the family. We do this alot! These absolutely pull their weight as a very decent set of headphones. I personally feel they live up to the Razer brand reputation. Don’t expect $500 headphones quality, and you’ll be fine. But…honestly is these cost $200 -$300, I would believe it. They are a no brainier at this price. Plus …cute factor = 10 out of 10 lol Short version…get these… you won’t be disappointed ... show more

Good headset for Wife

My wife loves the headset. She noted that it was comfortable and didn’t pull on her hair at all. It was easy to pair and the colors are nice. The reason for the 4 star is due to the mic not being the best quality, it does work but there are times when it cuts out or you would have to speak loudly for it to catch what you’re saying. This was even after adjusting apps and in-game settings for mic sensitivity. Overall the headset is durable and looks good along with being comfortable. I was looking for cute headphones with a good mic and sound quality. I'm not a gamer, and reading a few of these reviews from people who bought them specifically for gaming had me rethinking if I should buy them, since they all said they weren't all that great. I eventually did buy them based solely based on aesthetic and sound quality. I use them strictly for listening to music while I work from home. I also use them to make a few calls from my cell phone now and then. I haven't gotten any complaints yet! The sound is great, but they aren't noise cancelling at all. They aren't advertised as such so I can't knock any stars for that. The only con: If you like loud music (which I do) others around you will be able to hear it. I won't be taking these out in public, but I wasn't really planning to. They are also very comfortable to wear. I wear them for hours at a time with my glasses on and they aren't uncomfortable at all. If you're looking for cute headphones, solely for entertainment purposes, these are great. I can't vouch for any sound quality for gaming or streaming, but these are cute, worth the price and sound great! Not Compatible With Computers As Advertised

The only good thing I can say about these headphones is that they're cute, and even then I've seen other kitty ear styled headphones that look just as good, some much better. Sound quality was atrocious, I know that Bluetooth typically has a lower sound quality than wired, but this was astoundingly bad. Discord, both on mobile and laptop, sounded distorted, metallic, echoey, and overall very low quality. My headset powered down multiple times at random despite being fully charged. If you want to control the lights on the headphones you have to download an app to your phone. For some reason the kraken Bluetooth kitty will NOT connect to razer synapse on computer, so you can't control settings easily like you would your other Kraken products. They felt lower quality, the earcups were not comfortable, and the headband was pretty tight even at max size. I spent a week looking up information all on these headphones about their connectivity issues with the computer and ran across the same thing over and over, they just will not connect properly to computer. When in use on the phone they work a bit better, but on computer are next to useless. They show up as having both a headset and headphone sound option, but only headset works which is the much lower quality one. I tried half a dozen ways to try to get it to connect to Razer Synapse on the computer (it states it has a kraken bt kitty patch that supposedly fixes the issue) but with no results. The random shut offs or colors stopping despite being full battery and loss of bt connectivity ultimately led me to return these. I purchased a slightly more expensive but much higher quality Yowu kitty headset, and it stays connected and works with all of my consoles, phone, and PC. I wanted to like these headphones so much so they'd match my kraken rose quartz keyboard and rose quartz kraken mic, but the fact that they're marketed as a computer and gaming headset but seem to be basically incompatible with both was a total let down. ... show more

I seriously love love love these headphones. They have big 'ol holes for my giant attached-lobe ears, they are comfortable, they are CUTE as CUTE can be, the ears are RIDICULOUS in the best way possible, the battery life is comparable to any device I may use (I'm a pretty avid gamer), and I love the fact that they are wireless. They do a great job of noise cancellation and I usually have to be physically tapped on the shoulder in order to listen properly... great excuse as I hate talking to people. My only gripe about these is that I wish they would not power off after like 30 seconds of inactivity. I can be doing something and want to keep my headphones on and not hear "power off" every 10 seconds when I am looking for a new video, when I just have to flip them back on and then they go right back off. I’ve used these almost daily since I bought them over 4 years ago. They still have amazing battery life, and have held up really well. The grey color on cushion on the headband JUST started to peel this week, 4 years after having them. I get compliments all the time on them.
