  • Best Headset I've Owned
Color: White/Black Style: Kaira Pro HyperSpeed Set: PlayStation
Do not be intimidated by the 200$ price tag; if you have the budget for these headphones, pull the trigger. Or wait for a deal. I bought these and so far the Haptic Feedback they provide has been truly life-changing; I use Dolby Atmos on my desktop and this combination makes electronic music, heavy metal, and other music feel truly impactful; double bass feels as if I'm attending a metal concert, sometimes; I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to a basic headset after owning these things. They are predominantly plastic and sometimes creak more than you'd like, but feel sturdy enough that I'm not concerned about them breaking. Just treat them like your lady, gents! Also, I purchased the Hyperspeed model, which means you cannot customize the rumble the haptics provide; you can only increase or decrease incrementally. If you want a little bit more control over your experience, I suggest you purchase Dolby Atmos from the Microsoft Store or wherever. From there, you can fine-tune which settings you would like to use. They have a "game mode", a "music mode" a "movie mode" and more. I personally prefer music mode. Another geeky tip: if you're on a desktop, right-click the sound icon on the taskbar in the lower right. Select "open volume mixer" and select the icon for your headphones on the left; from there, you will find an "enhancements" tab for your headphones. The options I have available are bass boost, headphone virtualization, and loudness equalization, each with a settings option down below; I use bass boost and loudness equalization, and it absolutely makes a difference. Bass is far rumblier when you mess with these settings, and lower-frequency sounds are given more of a chance to reverb as opposed to higher-frequency sounds; this will result in a far better listening experience for you. Hope that helps! These headphones are 100% worth all the tinkering I had to go through to get the sound perfect. I absolutely love these and if they ever break, I'm going to have to find a way to purchase them again. They're that good. Fantastic work, Razer. (Included a picture of the headphones menu I spoke of; this is where you can make the adjustments!) ... show more

  • Quality for the price (Under $90)
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I've owned a lot of headsets over the past decade. Here's my initial review after using it for the past month. Like: 1. Easy setup 2. Quality surround sound. I'm using it with Dolby Atmos. 3. Nice Xbox app allows for appropriate level of customization. 4. Mic monitoring works really well. 5. You can remove the mic boom if you don't need it. 6. Very comfortable for hours of gaming. I have large ears and a larger head. Don't like: 1. You need to update the firmware via a computer. App only lets you know if your firmware is up to date. 2. Chat/Game balance wheel doesn't make a sound or click to let you know when it's balanced. You need to count the number of click turns and balance manually. Hopefully the build quality give me 3+ years of gaming but only time will tell. My last headset (Microsoft Wireless) mic plastic casing cracked and broke on its own. Definitely brittle cheap plastic was used as I take good care of my accessories. ... show more

  • Good headset
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
I bought this headset because I wanted to game with my fiancé . We wanted to be able to communicate when we played fortnite together. Overall, this is a great headset and the Bluetooth works great. The sound quailty is great, also in a group chat too. The battery is great and last 15 hours. But, there are some things I did not like. I am a female with I think an average size head, but the headphones are too big for my head. If I turned my head too quickly the headset with slid off head so I am constantly readjusting the headset on my head. I have the adjusters are on the lowest level. And the headset is still too big, and I like my headset snugged. SO, this headset is made for someone with a larger size head. Also, I do not like that the microphone part can not be cracked to the back of the headset and will shut off the mic. That's a feature other headset I have used in the past have had. Now I have to take the headset off or go in manually and shut off the mic I walk aways and use the bathroom. If you had a headset like that in the. past, then you know what I'm talking about. ... show more

  • Best Headset I've had, bar none.
Color: Black Style: Kaira Pro Set: Xbox
This is an excellent fitting headset. I have had several headset in the last few years . A Razer Kraken and Razer Nari Ultimate. I have also had HyperX Cloud and HyperX Flight. This is by far my favorite fitting headset. For me its no contest as to which one fits the best. Between the Nari and Kaira the sound is almost identical, but for sound quality of similar specs I do not have the greatest ear. The only thing I have found is that the mic seems very sensitive which while being a good thing for voices seems to pick up ambient noise, but I haven't done much voice chat with it so that may just be on my end. The controls work very easy much better feedback on the controls over the Nari. It easily conected to my Series X and my PC. Over all i can say I haven't had a better headset in the last eight years. Edit: after having a week with it and checking with my friends it does not have noise feedback. The mic does register as picking up noose, but according to everyone I've talked to it does not pick up the background noise. Changed review to 5/5. ... show more
