This is a roll of silicone tape. It is 1 inch wide by 9.8 ft long. It is heat resistant, easy to use, and has stretch adhesion. It creates a waterproof seal and it is self fusing. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. I have never used a product like this before, but I thought it was interesting so I chose this. I cut an inch off of the Roll to play with. It does not appear to have any outside glue attached to it, but it does stick to itself very strongly. I can see as this would be extremely useful for everything that an electrical tape could be used for, but this is much stronger. I like how it is self fusing so it's creates a waterproof seal, and because it is made from Silicone it is heat resistant. I intend to use this to wrap the connections for my solar array. I will probably need to get another roll to go with this one. This is an excellent product and serves a specific purpose!

Wrapped an old tennis racket handle to see how well it held. Not bad at all. It seems to adhere to itself without getting adhesive on you or the item you’re trying to wrap. Pretty cool. The tennis racket wasn’t that big but, I did use up more tape than I thought. So, purchase accordingly. 10ft of tape looks like it’ll go pretty quick. If there are any issues with unraveling/slippage, I’ll update. But pretty happy for now.

As a Vine Voice Customer, I received this product for free from Amazon Vine. This is an objective review based on my use of this product. My husband Jim has been in need of waterproof tape for maintenance and repair projects around the house, yard and patio area, and garage. This Magic Self-Fusing Silicone Tape did not disappoint. Stretchable and easy to apply where desired. In tight access spots, it helps to have 2 people for an extra set of hands. One note: The tape I received is somewhat different in both length (9.8 feet long versus the 10 feet advertised) and the package and tape roll appearance. However, the tape I received seems to be the same as that advertised, based on the application and performance of the tape. I recommend this product.

Good quality on par with other wraps of this type, I used it to wrap a garden tool with a rough handle which gave it a better feel and longer life without having to buy a replace with a new one for a season or two longer.

I had a similar product from one of the big box retailers and was down to the last few inches. These tapes are good for multiple purposes. As far a plumbing goes, my experience is OK for a temporary non pressure situation.

This sticks to itself, so no adhesive residue. I use it for putting together parts of my rainbarrel system with pvc pipe, helps hold it in place, but I can cut it off if needed. It stops leaks that have little to no pressure, it will not stop pressurized leaks.

Made for a purpose. If you need grip on a handle, this is what you need to make that happen. It does a great job of sticking to itself without any slimy seeping. A good value for a quality product.

I got this to keep handy in the toolkit for those just in case moments. I don’t see this as a permanent fix, but rather it works to keep the leaks at bay until you can make the permanent fix needed. I did try this on a leaky spigot and the tape held the leak back. It is easy to use and it adheres to itself.
