I was kind of hesitant about buying the podcaster/youtuber promoted earbuds but these are actually pretty good. The battery life on my Samsung earbuds started to diminish so I bought these. The tap controls are much better but take some adjustment - I love the ability to turn the volume up/down by tapping on the right/left earbuds. This is extremely helpful when running because I do not want to have to touch my phone at all. Sound quality is quite good. The bass these deliver pleasantly surprised me. Play around with the EQ on your phone if you can. The quality isn't audiophile level but is great for things like going on a run or just doing general house work. The active noise cancellation is just OK, but in my experience every device with active noise cancellation is just OK. Battery life so far is excellent. It will degrade over time, I will update this review if it gets unreasonably bad. ... show more

I bought these for my husband as a replacement for his AirPods. In his opinion, the biggest flaw about AirPods is that the fit is terrible, especially if using them at the gym. He also kept noticing that one ear bud would die a lot faster than the other even though he uses them in the exact same manner. After purchasing these for him, he quickly noticed how good of quality they are! The color is also really nice (he got the blue one). He loves the long battery life because he is typically working 10-12 hr shifts and they never die! He loves the different sound options and buttons/controls. He also loves how they have different size options for the buds and it’s helpful for when he is at the gym and needs a snug fit. He says they have never fallen out of his ears. These are the 3rd pair of raycons I've owned, and I've been very satisfied with all. I often have difficulty with earbuds fitting properly, they either fall out too easy or they hurt my ears. All of my racons have been a comfortable, secure fit. The sound quality is more than satisfying to me, but I'm not an audiophile either. My first pair was the basic model and eventually they broke, though I think it was more me being rough with them than any kind of durability complaint. The second pair was the sports model, which I purchased 2 years ago on Amazon. They're still working great. Battery life is about 6 hours of constant use, and there were just too many times I wore through that (or just forgot to charge them) and wished I had a second pair to swap to. I ordered this pair, and I've been delighted with some small upgrades over the earlier model. Battery life seems to be longer, I'd guess somewhere around 8 hours of use. This might be just because the old pair is wearing down a bit, batteries tend to that. The Bluetooth signal appears to be stronger on these. I like to wear them while lounging in the pool and working around the house. If I get too far from the source, of course the signal cuts out, but these seem to have a noticeably further range. Lastly, my old pair was slightly annoying in that it could only connect to one device at a time. When I wanted to switch between the computer for work, or my phone for recreation, I often had to manually turn off BT on one of the devices to prevent it from connecting there. These just to connect to both and its awesome! My only complaint on both pairs is that the touch controls seem to be very sensitive and I find myself changing sound modes on them inadvertently whenever I touch them. But its a minor problem and overall on cost vs performance I would highly recommend raycons as a great value! ... show more

Decent ear buds, but not for audiophiles. I got these because of reviews and what I look for in earbuds. First of all, I am NOT an audiophile. I listen to music a lot and listen to podcasts, audiobooks, sports. But I did not get these for the super high quality sound, so these more than meet my expectations. Positives: 1. Battery life. The battery life on these far exceed anything I've had before. A single charge will easily last an entire day. 2. Comfort. The do not fall out easily and are comfortable in my ears. Even when shaking my head or engaged in some sort of physical exercise, etc. 3. The sound quality is adequate, not great, but good enough to enjoy music and clear enough for podcasts and audiobooks. It is not tinny at all. If you're looking for super rich sound, this set is probably not the one for you. 4. I'm impressed with the charging case. It does require a USBC cable for charging, but that's not an issue. The case charges up very quickly and it charges the buds within minutes. Cons: 1. The ridiculous app needed to control the buds from your phone. It's annoying. 2. The sound does not go quite high enough 3. The sound cancelling is mediocre. I haven't used it on a plane yet, but I doubt it would be sufficient. 4. The on bud controls are a bit glitchy. When the volume is supposed to go up, it goes down sometimes. No real consistency to it. A double tap is supposed to pause, but sometimes just makes the volume go up. Maybe it's just practice, but it just doesn't seem consistent. Overall, this is the set of earbuds that most suits my needs and wants: Comfort, stability (they don't fall out), decent sound and long lasting charge. ... show more
