I own too many pairs of sunglasses from AO, Randolph and a few pairs of Oakleys but these looked to check all the boxes of my preferred tastes in glasses. One negative normally for me is if you can see my eyes through the lenses but for whatever reason the lesser tint just seems to add to the elegance of how this pair is supposed to be showcased. Fit for me is perfect not too large for my face but covers exactly where I want them to. Sight lines are good, no distortions or frame in my peripheral. build quality feels solid. They felt great. Unfortunately, the lens quality failed. A bright sun reflection from chrome on a red car appeared as a bright blue flash when wearing these Ray-Bans (with blue polarized Chromance lens). By comparison, I looked at the same view with a pair of Vuarnet sunglasses with blue-polarized lenses. There was no distortion through the Vuarnets. I wanted to like these sunglasses, but this visual distortion was a deal-breaker. I'd expected better from made-in-Japan sunglasses carrying a $484.00 MSRP. ... show more
