I always wanted a pair of Aviator style sunglasses but found every single commercially available model to be comically large for my face. No matter the design or even supposed smaller lens size all of them were too big. Then, enter this model by Ray Ban and finally I found one that works. Quality is what you would expect for the $100+ sunglasses market, above average and consistent with the Ray Ban brand. Came with a soft sided case and cleaning cloth. Watch for it to go on sale as you should be able to grab them 20-30% below retail. Also, do NOT try to get the kids version as a substitute. It won't work. The bridge is slightly smaller and it won't fit most adult faces. The measurements are only a few mm in difference but those really matter. You can give it a try, but make sure you will be able to return them without an issue before ordering.

They are advertised as getting darker in the sun. They do not do this. They are just clear glasses with no purpose

Bought the 52mm expecting them to be the smaller frame raybans I bought when I was in flight school. These are more like child size. Unless you are a VERY small adult, I would not buy this size

These are a great pair of glasses if your looking for a pair of mirrored aviators. Yes, they are expensive but Ray-Ban is a great brand and you get excellent quality. I was tired of buying cheap aviators that scratched or broke easily, so I decided to invest in a quality pair. I ordered the 58mm sized and they fit perfectly. The vision is clearer then the cheap aviators I previously purchased. I've used them for a few weeks now with no issues. I'm not looking to text their scratch resistance but they have fallen a few times with no damage. Highly recommended if you wanted a solid pair of sunglasses for the summer.

I wish they got a little darker in the sun - in fact, I'm not sure they actually change color at all. Honestly though, I don't care - they are just dark enough to serve as sunglasses but not so dark you need to take them off when you walk inside. I've been looking for a classy pair in this color combo for a while and may finally have found them. Probably not for everybody, they compare to Ray-Ban's full size aviator so are a little on the bid side, and the lenses are glass so a little heavy. However, it's all balanced out just right, at least so far.
