It turns out that the difference between the "new" Wayfarer and the original ones, apart from the price, is that the original Wayfarers sit on your nose in such a way that they sort of angle downward a little, about 5° or so; these don't. I'm not sure what the advantage of that is, to be honest. If you want the angle, and are willing to pay 2-3x as much for it, get the original ones. I thought this deal was too good to be true, and apparently it is. I have ordered TWO pairs of these glasses and they have both been far below the rayban standard. The first one had a sharp imperfect on the nose guard where the plastic was separated in production, which caused a rash and irritation from friction. The second pair was worse than the first. The matted finish of the glasses was covered in little white flaws and imperfections, and the plastic frame of the classes literally melted from the spring head of being in the case in the bad while walking. ... show more
