The glove looks great the padding on the glove feelings strong an durable im going to be playing 1B with this glove and I hope to make a lot of scopes and good plays with it and it’s not heavy at all good for high school varsity baseball or jv im 17 btw and catching the ball is good able to break in the glove nice and easy and it’s not hard to catch either a soon as I put on the glove I can squeeze it without much effort! ... show more

Bought this glove for my daughter that plays 1B part-time for her 10U travel ball team. Figured at this price point it's easy enough for her to throw it in her bag as a backup glove when she needs it. At first this glove felt way too soft and squishy from the factory. I wasn’t sure it would break-in since it was already so soft. After a few weeks of playing catch with 2 fingers in the pinky I’m happy to report a nice pocket has formed and it’s a very satisfying feel. 11-inch softballs are easy to snag, 12-inch are a little large, baseballs are gobbled up. Really good beginner mitt at an entry level price. The leather has a raw, suede finish and feels really natural. Love Rawlings gloves and this is a good one. ... show more

This is a great value glove. I am a father of a softball pitcher and needed something that was a good utility glove for catching practice and fielding practice.
