Aluminum Oxide is a fast, versatile and economical cutting abrasive. Aluminum Oxide is the second hardest mineral on Earth, second only to diamond. Aluminum Oxide can be used in wet and dry blasting applications for cleaning, deburring, etching and finishing. Aluminum Oxide is ideal for etching the surface of glass as it’s hardness is greater than glass. Aluminum Oxide won’t break down as fast as glass blasting media and has a longer cycle life than most blast media.

This stuff works great in our sand blasting cabinet that we purchased from Harbor Freight. It takes the rust right off tools and has everything looking smooth and new.

I needed some sand for my blaster and bought this to get me by. Later I looked around and found a better deal at the locate tool store. It does work and happy to have it when I needed it.

Good quality but you can get better deals at most hardware stores, so if you need to save money look around first. If you don't mind the extra few bucks on the cost then I recommend otherwise.

Works as advertised but way over-priced for a basic blasting medium. Go to Tractor Supply instead and buy a 25lbs bag of coal slag for $10.99
