I bought two gloves at the same time just for fun and to use with a rebound net. This, the Wilson A2000, and the Rawlings HOH R2G are 2 high quality gloves that look and feel great. The Wilson is very stiff, even after 3 weeks of normal break-in. But is worth the effort. Rawlings leather is a little softer. Fit and finish on both are spectacular. ... show more

I have had this glove for about a month and a half and I love it. I used the hot water, mallet treatment the first day and have been throwing a ball into it daily. It is now broken in nicely and feels like it was made for my hand. It does take work to break it in but I consider it fun. It serves the same purpose as a stress ball for me. If your kid is having trouble breaking it in, just get him a ball and have him spend an hour a day while watching TV throwing the ball into it. It is very cathartic. ... show more

Upon arrival, like most good quality gloves, the leather was very stiff. However, it has been a pleasure to break in. It just got more and more comfortable with each day of break-in and play. I wouldn't buy this glove used; make sure to get it new so it forms perfectly to your hand. It took me about 3 weeks of daily play and using break-in techniques to get it the way I like.
