Great glove! I needed a new glove for coaching little league. My last glove was the same I originally got in college and it was time to upgrade. I really liked the look of this glove. The chocolate brown looks amazing! Like any Heart of the Hide glove, the leather on this glove is high quality, relatively thick and stiff. There is a significant break-in period, definitely not game ready out of the box. However, spend a bit of time with a mallet and some catch and this will be a great glove for many years. In fact, I doubt I will ever need another one. ... show more

Bought for my son for Christmas in 2024! It’s now September 2025. A little color did rub off initially, but it hasn’t faded. It’s his baby! He beats gloves up hardcore as he plays travel and school ball, as well as works at least 2 hrs at home daily… this has held up exceptionally well! Easy to break in. Definitely not going to find many gloves on the market better than this one. With that said, it’s still not perfect. I’ve owned this glove for about 2 months and the pictures reflect the glove after 2 months of light use. I coach 8u travel ball. Aside from a couple catch sessions with a friend who throws about 65-75 MPH this glove has only caught throws from 6-8 year olds. My biggest negative is that, as you can see, the “heart of the hide” stamp in the palm is already faded. The lacing is top notch. And the glove comes 65% broken in. I lotion this glove about 5 times over a few weeks trying to get it to fully break in, but after 6 weeks of trying that, I finally started beating it with a wooden mallet and after about 5 minutes of pounding it’s officially 100% broken in. I say that because glove lotion will darken the gray side of the glove, so if you don’t want that you should probably just beat it. On a positive note, there’s no doubt in my mind that this high quality glove will last a LONG time. There’s just little things about it that I would expect a higher quality from a glove with an MSRP of $299. Luckily I got it on sale for $225. Definitely worth it, but not perfect. The only other feedback I have is if you’re used to an 11.5” glove, the extra .25” actually makes way more of a difference than I expected and I find myself catching the ball in the palm way more than I have with any of the dozens of gloves I’ve owned in my life. So if you’re an infielder, you might want to consider something smaller. I played infield my whole life and prefer a small glove and this one definitely feels more like an outfield glove (at least for me). Happy shopping! ... show more

My son is 12 and plays third base on a travel team - practices 4 to 5 times a week too - very serious about his baseball - he hopes to go far - this glove has been his best friend - he had a red blue neon before, same brand, but it got stolen - it was size 11 1/2 - bought him this one (sky blue and black) this time around because coaches really love him at 3rd - this is an excellent product - took some time to break this new one in but he loves it now - Important detail: the 11 1/2 vs the 11 3/4 have a WORLD of difference when it comes to fielding per my son’s observation - he had to adapt over weeks of practices - still the quality remains top notch!!! ... show more
