I got the smallest size for my rescue puppy and it was still way too big for him. Which is a bummer because he comes to all of the baseball games with us. It was an easy return though and I got my money back.

This collar is really cute and lots of fun for our family because we are baseball fans. The collar is made of nice quality leather that has red stitching like you would find on a baseball. The metal hardware is substantial and nice looking, as well; it is sort of an antiqued brass color that looks great against the leather. I ordered the black one for my Jack Russell Terrier, who is white and with black spots and lots of little black freckles. I love the way the black leather coordinates with his coloring while the red stictches stand out. Black and white plus a pop of red is a great-looking combination in my opinion. Like most JRTs, our little dog is ball-obsessed and super athletic, with lightning speed and incredible reflexes. We have often joked that if he was a person he would make an outstanding baseball player, so we love this collar for him. My only wish is that the seller had been more specific about the sizing of the collars. The seller gives only one measurement for each size, but doesn't specify whether that measurement is the entire length of the collar, or the approximate neck size of the dog. When purchasing collars from just about any other vendor, they give a range of neck sizes that each size will fit rather than focusing on the entire length of the collar. Since this listing only gave one measuremtn for each size, I was a bit confused and didn't know what that single measurement was referring to. I decided it probably was the entire length of the collar so I ended up ordering a medium when I should have ordered a small. My dog's neck is about 14 inches around, so I was afraid the 15.5-inch collar (size small) would be too small for him since the collar needs to be several inches longer than the actual neck size to account for the buckle, tucking a portion of the other end into the buckle, etc. The seller lists a medium as 20.25 inches so I hoped it would fit once the buckle and the extra length needed on each end is figured in, but unfortunately the collar is too big even on the smallest setting, and I can't put any new holes in it to make it smaller without cutting into the red baseball stitching. I was able to take photos of my dog wearing the collar so that you can't really tell how big it is on him, so hopefully that will be helpful for shoppers to get an idea of how great the collar will look on their dogs. But I also took another photo showing how this collar is way too big for my little guy. I should have ordered the size small for him but there was really no proper way for me to know that. Overall this is a great looking and well made collar. I just wish the sizing information had been more specific and more helpful in choosing the right size.

Both my softball glove and my sons baseball glove are Rawlings brand and in the same color scheme as this Rawlings Baseball Stitch Leather Dog Collar. So naturally I just had to get it since I usually bring our pup to games. The collar is good quality leather and looks just like the photos online. It’s thick and sturdy, and could easily last for years and years. Personally I prefer leather collars for my dog as they tend to not only last a really long time, but they also don’t start to smell horrible like other types of collars do. Size wise I followed the sizing chart they have posted and it fit my pup perfectly! Overall really happy with this one!

The media could not be loaded. This has a good thick leather strap and I hope the leather is good quality and that is something that time will tell because good leather just gets better with age. The leather has either has a paint or seal on it that makes it a bit difficult to see exactly what it looks like underneath. It looks nice with the red stitching and brass hardware. It has a place for tags as well as a spot to hook a leash (a little on the smaller side). I will definitely update this collar if I have any quality issues over time. There are five adjustable holes to use as well as room to add if needed. I like the look if this collar and should last a lifetime if the leather indeed is as good as it looks.
