  • Best honey spread I got
If you spread honey on bread, then you should definitely buy this. I've been looking for honey for my parents to eat, after trying 2 other brands from the markets this one was their favorite. I use to live in Germany and looked for similar honey product that I used in Germany. This was perfect and especially for the price. I will order from them from now on. After reading some of people's review, I think I need to inform some of you people giving bad reviews. I've been using honey most of my life. I'm not a bee farmer nor am I associated with this honey farmer in anyway. RAW CREAMED HONEY HAS AN EXTRA STEP After collecting and straining raw honey from the hive, it is throwen into a honey creamer. A honey creamer is essentially a big tank with an auger that spins liquid honey periodically over a few days. Honey naturally wants to crystallize in the tank but by stirring it, it interferes with the natural crystallization process. This allows it to control the size of the crystals. The smaller the crystal, the smoother and creamier the honey. Creamy/spreadable honey has a smooth, sumptuous texture that is perfect as a spread but preserves the goodness of raw honey. The source of flower nectar for honey has a huge impact on how it crystallizes too. Some flowers create smooth honeys by themselves, while other flowers create honeys that take a very long time to crystallize. I hope that this will clear up some people's perception of this honey. ... show more

  • not sure it's true raw honey.
Not sure it's real "raw Honey" but it sure tastes good. The "raw" honey I've bought before at a much higher price was nearly UNspreadable. It was darker and was waxy to the point it would rip the toast until it warmed up a bit. This stuff seems more like spun honey. It is easily spreadable and tastes great. I'm no expert, but you might want to check it out a little more if you want the real stuff. I'll buy again though. ... show more

  • Never enough Honey
There is a sneaking suspicion that my parents are in fact bears, considering the amount of honey they consume. I got them a 5LB jar of it, thinking that will be it for at least half a year. That poor thing made it less than a month before a second one was requested. Since the fairway I bought from was charging 50$ for one of those bad boys, it wasn't easy keeping my parents in the honey. After many searches and some strange directions from friends, I got tiered and just went to see what I can pull off Amazon, because why the hell not, they have everything else. Lo and behold, organic unfiltered honey....in a beautiful 1 Gallon pail. So far the parents haven't made their way through it yet. If it takes less than half a year for them to eat through it....I'm getting a larger size to put their habit into perspective. For the truly insane, there's a 5 Gallon bucket of the stuff. ... show more

  • Lots of honey
I have plowed through a third of this 5 gallon bucket of honey. Substituting honey for sugar is my motive in buying such a large quantity. The honey tastes great and I prefer raw for the benefit of enzymes. Great honey! Not the best I've had but much better than other types I have had!

  • Best raw honey I've had.
I really, really like this honey. I had bought a jar from a store some time ago and was happy to see it here on Amazon. The consistancy looks like a solid, but is soft and easy to spoon. It is not runny like we are used to so it is not messy. The taste is very good. A nice mild pleasurable sweet honey taste, not strong pungent taste that some honeys have. I use mine mostly in my coffee and tea and want my honey to compliment them. This honey does just that. Sweetens them nicely with a hint of honey flavor. This is pure honey meaning it is not waxy. I recommend this honey to family and friends and now to you too. ... show more

  • Real raw honey brings back memories
This is REAL raw honey, many retailers will put that word on their product these days so they must have changed the meaning to get away with that. To me, Raw honey means unpasteurized/unheated/unfiltered and generally unprocessed and that is what you get here. The product was well packaged and sealed, and upon opening it I was overcome with nostalgia. Anyone blessed enough to know what raw wildflower honey smells like will know what I mean, look forward to the batch of mead this lot will yeild! ... show more

  • Not as advertised- fake honey
Not at all what i wanted as it says creamed honey buts its very granulated. Not sure its pure honey either as im sensitive to honey alternatives and get a headache after eating this. Anazon doesnt allow returns either so im out $75 huge waste of money
