This is a beautiful, high quality glitter polish that went on smoothly and looks great. However, I don't see anything "holographic" about it. It seems to be a very finely ground glitter in a translucent polish with quite a bit of color in the polish. It's shiny and sparkly and very pretty. However it does not look anything like the picture in the listing with a rainbow of colors, at least not in the Turquoise color. Although it's a lovely polish, I am giving it only 4 stars because I believe the picture in the listing was touched up in a deceptive way. In other customer pictures it looks like some of the other colors have more of a rainbow effect. I like the way it changes depending on the base color. I love these polishes. Once I tried the first one I immediately ordered 5 more shades. They are so beautiful. Ignore my poor painting skills and my cat as the background, and look how gorgeous that sparkle is! It's even more beautiful in the sun. The polish goes on smoothly and easily. It took about two light coats, but it has decent coverage with one coat. It's also light enough to be buildable without being too thick. I work in a kitchen and had no problem with the color lasting or peeling. The bottles are very nice and have the color sample on the lid and it is accurate. These are worth every penny. Got the orange and the blue to represent Taylor’s new album coming out and they definitely match the showgirl vibe!! Love the amount of shimmer in the polish. I did 2 coats over a white base and think it came out great. Not too dull, not too flashy.

So I brought this polish to a professional nail salon and had it applied by the nail tech who’s been doing my nails for years. See the photos for the results. Very disappointing. It was applied over black and she used a magnet. This is someone who knows what she’s doing and she couldn’t get the holographic effect. If you want really shiny grey nails, this is for you.
