Good value, I think. So far is has been very warm and comfortable to wear. I am 6'3" and the sleeves are not to short. Possible issues: 1.The zipper is not very good and I expect it to fail with frequent use, it is new and sticks from time to time. I think adding a name brand zipper and raising the price a few $$ would be a great idea. 2. Velcro closure has some very sharp edges where the stitching in not as close to the edges as it could be. 3. The outer shell does not feel very durable, in fact in feels fragile, but time will tell. Use for this jacket is as a daily driver, I have not test it and only have had a week, but I do not think it will stand up to heavy or rough use.

The coat I got for Christmas didn't fit well and wasnt as warm as I'd hoped so I ordered this one. Weather got colder than expected and last years coat was too small. After looking through all the nanny options we choose this one. I did size up and I'm happy that I did because it's still a perfect fit. If it hadn't been so cold I probably would have sized up again. It's very warm without being too heavy to carry all day. They don't get lockers. It keeps him dry in the rain. It's a good quality. No issues with tearing, zippers or Velcro. The hood covers his entire head nicely to keep out wind and any precipitation. Oh he picked the blue one. Just a dull, deep blue. Nothing spectacular, but he likes it.

This jacket is probably one of the best ones I've purchased in terms of comfort, fit, and insulation. However the build quality is subpar, after only a week from purchase I've worn it about 5 times and there are already loose threads and a tear on the sleeve and I've been very delicate with it. Also be aware the front pockets are very small and probably won't hold your phone securely. Bottom line, for $50 it's a good deal, but don't expect it to last long.

Nice thick, warm coat. It's not heavy at all. Everything is and feels like great quality. The zipper is even very easy to zip. The coat is also waterproof and it works well in the blizzards! I got compliments on the coat color and the fleece liner inside.
