Today marks one full week since I applied these tips. Please bear in mind that it was my first attempt and I am old (as you can tell from my hand). They were very easy to apply and have held up extremely well. I may be old, but I am active and they have taken everything I put them through on a daily basis. In addition to normal daily household tasks, I also spend quite a bit of time daily in the barn with my horses. Mucking stalls, brushing horses, cleaning their feet, cleaning feed buckets. Plus unloading bags of feed and bales of hay and the occasional fence repair. Honestly I didn't expect much from these tips, considering the price. But they have proven themselves to be worth every penny and then some. If I were not retired and were still working as a secretary, they'd be too long for me to type accurately, but those days are long gone. No, they don't look as perfect as a salon manicure, but again it was my very first attempt and hopefully I will get better at applying them. If you're on the fence about trying these tips, go for it. If I can do it, anyone can. Five Stars.

These are my favorite tips and I’ll never go back to any others. They look natural, stay in place, and work great with my dip powders. I use them to protect my nails each dip, which is about every three weeks! They protect my nails, and keep them strong, which is really nice because a lot of times these dips by themselves will make my nails, really weak! But once they’re on they’re on and I don’t have to worry about them. Looking for three weeks more. I just changed my nails like the color!

Color: Short Natural Oval Half Cover Nail Tips
I just recently got back into doing my nails and decided to try dip powder with extensions for the first time. I picked these tips as my starter set to experiment with, and I think they’re a great choice for that. They’re on the thinner side and have a nice bit of flexibility, which makes them comfortable to wear and easier to work with. I also like that they come preshaped with a natural color; it really cuts down on prep time. I’m a bit out of practice with doing my own nails and still learning the dip technique, but my first few tries turned out pretty decent, and each one is getting better. I used inexpensive glue (Cala Super Nail Glue), and I’ve been surprised at how well they’ve held up. Out of three full sets, I’ve only had one nail pop off, which is impressive considering I have a very active job and tend to be pretty hard on my hands. One small tip: I recommend clipping off the little tab instead of twisting it. Since the nails are thin, twisting can cause a bit of damage to the shape. Also, I had to remind myself not to glue the nail too far down the nail bed, these are meant to sit right at the tip for the best, most natural look. They’re not 100% seamless once applied, but with a quick light file at the edge and a few layers of dip powder, everything blends in really nicely. Overall, I’d say they’re easy to work with, affordable, and perfect for anyone practicing or getting back into doing their own nails at home.

The pictures can be deceiving because most of mines came in really curled inwards making it hard to slightly file inside before curing. be careful using a curled piece in your nails before cutting, shaping and curing as it may cure too deep into your skin without realizing it (due to the curl inwards) I had to soak it off and redo cause the pain 30mins later was intolerable. The sizes were scattered every where, mines had NO pinky or index finger sizes i had to cut and file one. and when i tried to spread open the curled in pieces it formed a white dot in the middle of the nails. It looks good on when applying nail glue gel but it can not cover up the white dot in the center of the nail, i wear it anyways because i needed something for my vacay. If it wasn't for the easy to use nail glue this nail tip would of been inconvenient to have. For the price i can't complain you get what you pay for. Consider finding another brand. But if you need something last minute for cheap get this and just work around it.( If I'm able to add pictures later I will)

I’ve used many different types of nail tips, but these are probably the easiest ones I’ve used. Holding the tag on the tip (containing the size number) makes it easy to position properly without getting the fingers of your opposite hand full of glue. They also look natural. I only needed one nail repaired, and it doesn’t stand out. Of course I also added some glue and filler for stability and disguise.
