The charging USB ports charged only intermittently. It became a thing where I had to replug the device back in repeatedly to get a charge started. The charger was a little too bulky for my particular car which required turning it to a 45 degree angle to get it to seat all the way. Probably should have gone with another model # LHCC1002 as it would have fit my particular vehicle better and provided the charging ports works too of course. Oh well you live and you learn ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Update; no product is perfect 100% of the time. The real test is what is done when the customer is not happy. The Seller reached out to me and found out that I was having a problem with the original purchase and asked me what it would take to make me happy. I expressed what my bad experience was with the original purchase and that I was open to trying a different model (model # LHCC1002) that might suit my needs better and they sent me that model free of charge. I received it today 7-29-20 and could not be happier with this one. Oh and one other very important point. Most of the screens on these chargers are very hard to see in direct day light. The blue light that comes from this models LHCC1002 is amazing. Even in direct sunlight. What an amazing seller I am so impressed. I highly recommend this seller. Thank you! Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for., Arrived quickly, Seems well made. BUT. Many Subaru's have the cigarette lighter recessed into the panel. The wide body of this adapter prevents the plug from fully inserting into the receptacle, thus it does not make contact. Suggest you carefully check the location of your cigarette lighter AND the surrounding area to make sure that this adapter will seat properly. Most digital voltmeters are within 1% accuracy. I dont drive much, So when I plugged it into the cigarette lighter, It told me 12.1 volt, On a lead acid battery, 12v is dead, 12.5v is full charge. So I put my little 6 amp charger on to recharge the battery, The voltage slowly rises, with the little 6 amp charger, my charger may show 13.5 volts by morning. About a half day after I disconnect it, or if I use a little power, it will probably return to 12.5 volts. A bigger charger could go as high as 15v while charging. (I worked with batteries for about 10 years.) It is Holding into the socket just fine. I always plug the GPS into the cigarette plug, for my speedometer, & to know when I reach 322 miles, that is when my tank goes empty after a fill-up. Some times I need a small USB to charge my tablet, this has three USB outlets.. Im good, Im happy, this is what I needed. ... show more

With this adapter which I use to plug in my Garmin GPS unit to the lighter socket of the adapter and my other devices to the three USB jacks without any issues. One of the valuable qualities of this adapter is the Voltage Meter. My vehicle was in the garage for quite awhile, the Voltage Meter showed to low of voltage to start the car and it was correct, the car wouldn't start. I jump started the car and was able to monitor the voltage of the battery as it was charging. Once the voltage read 12.5 volts I was able to start the car. The adapter is a little pricey but it is built well and does its job excellently. I now have three of these adapters with my recent purchase. If you use devices in your vehicle such as a GPS unit, cell phones, and tablets etc. this would be a great purchase for you. ... show more

My vehicle just missed the cut off on GPS and being new to the area I installed a Garmin GPS. Since the vehicle is a manual, i didn't want to fool with my cell photo and wanted a slightly larger display. The problem is I only have one cigarette plug and one USB plug. I use the USB for my recorded music leaving me to occasionally swap out the GPS with my cell phone charger. So I got online and found this pug. It basically adds 2 USB plugs to your vehicle. Now i;m able to simultaneously run my GPS and charge my cell phone. The build quality seems good and it works well. The handy volt meter is cool as well. This is exactly what I have been needing. It allows me to keep an accessory plug to connect my GPS, which requires the original plug cord for the traffic option to work. Plus allows me to have a couple of hi power USB ports. The battery level is a nice bonus as my convertible sometimes sits for a few months during the winter and I can easily check if the battery needs a charge. It also allows me to monitor that the battery is being charged while driving. I also like that it has 3 USB ports located at 2 different angles. Fast charging seems to work.
