  • Better than OEM for 1993 Toyota T100 4x4
It takes a little ingenuity but it’s a simple install on a 1993 Toyota T100 4x4 pickup. This part can replace your OEM steering damper and gave me an excellent smooth ride with full travel on the steering bar. I had to grind down the bolt spacer bushing steel sleeve that attaches the top loop to the frame but it slipped in fine afterwards. The loop bushing on the drag bar link requires no additional grinding and bolts on just fine. Don’t install it unless you’re willing to take the risk but I can say I’m satisfied. ... show more

  • Works great. NOTE
Makes a big difference in how my F350 4x4 responds to irregularities in road surfaces and potholes. I can actually feel the difference in the reduced arm energy needed to drive my vehicle when off road and wrestling with the steering wheel. Works great. NOTE: This is just the replacement stabilizer for those who already have the Rancho brand brackets installed on their vehicle. What you see in the picture is what you get...no included brackets. ... show more

  • New application for Rancho
This was installed on a 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE. Fit was tight because barrel is larger diameter than factory, but it works. You have to swap ends from the factory installation of the steering stabilizer, but it goes right on. It's working just fine.

  • P38A Range Rover Steering Damper Replacement
The Rancho RS5406 has the correct stroke length for the 2nd generation Range Rover. The only complication with the instalation is two fold. The tabs on the drag link have to be ground back to clear the features on the dampers rod end. A pair of sleeves and a washer are needed to seat the bushings correctly and stop the bolts from collapsing the tabs and frame bracket when torqued to specification. ... show more

  • No it doesn't
It says it fits my Ford F350. BEWARE! Only if you buy the additional bracket! What garbage. Unless you want to do additional work and are not handicapped like I am, so I went thru a lot of pain to try to install. Great if I want to make only left turns. BEWARE - ONLY if you buy the additional bracket! ... show more

  • Work as they should
Replaced the aftermarket steering stabilizers on a 00 excursion. seemed to work just fine.

  • Five Stars
****NEED TO KNOW**** The factory bushings will need to be removed from your stock Stabilizer and inserted into this one for it to work properly. Otherwise it worked as advertised.

  • Best steering damper
My favorite steering damper. Much better than Ford oem. Longer throw, better feel. Requires single damper bracket kit. Bracket has lasted 13 years, through several damper replacements.
