First off, this is obviously a great grill. The seller was excellent. Used my bucket on a tractor to hold it up while installing. The hardest part was interpreting the instructions from Ranch Hand, its hard to render 3 dimensional objects in 2 dimensions but with careful reading and examination, it all worked out. ... show more

Grille guard is great. Fits great and is sturdy. Pretty much the only brand I thought looked beefy on this generation Chevy SUV. I do not like that you have to drill through the bumper & another thing I disliked was the vague instructions. I am a certified ase master technician and the instructions were pretty much useless for someone who’d never put this style on before. It just has an exploded diagram of the parts and there are few steps with any real detail. This should be revamped in my opinion. Also I found it easier and, in my case, mandatory to remove the entire front bumper to install the upper frame brackets that you have to eventually drill through. This was absent in the instructions as well. For any DIY’er at home - beware because you may get frustrated and want to get it professionally installed. ... show more
