So happy I ordered this! All of the pieces included are useful and well constructed. There is some assembly required for the rake, but no assembly instructions were included. It’s a pretty intuitive process, so it’s easy to figure out regardless. The rake arrives in several pieces, but putting it together was quick and simple. They even include the tools to attach the bolt required to securely connect the rake head to the handle. The rake is made of sturdy metal, and the handle length can easily be adjusted to accommodate the individual using it. I only used 3 of the 5 handle pieces, and the handle length was perfect for me. If need be, I can add on or remove portions of the handle by simply screwing in, or unscrewing the handle sections. Easy to disassemble for storage as well. It’s easy to differentiate the top handle portion and the part that screws into the rake head without assembly instructions. The top of the handle has a rubber grip on it, and the part that screws into the rake has hole in it to accommodate the bolt. I thought the rake would be heavy because it’s made of metal, but it’s not cumbersome to use in the least. It’s sturdy but quite manageable. It also has a wide head with good tines making cleanup fast and easy. The bag that’s included is quite large, and perfect to use for yard cleanup at 53 gallons. It holds lots! It’s also reuseable and quite durable. It is a bit floppy, but not terrible. There was a piece of coated metal included that I believe you’re supposed to insert into the top edge of the bag, through the grommet, in order to keep it taught. Again, no instructions so it's my best guess, and it makes sense to me. Last but not least, there are the fabulous leaf scoops! I love those things! I already have a pair and use them religiously. Having a second set is a bonus. It makes quick work of collecting raked leaves to throw away in the bag. Very handy and so useful. Overall, a great set and a good value. Quality items that can be used season after season. Highly recommend!

Overall, this is not a bad rake. The quality is good, and the metal handle sections feel pretty sturdy once you screw them together tightly. It also gets very long if you use all of the handle pieces. I am 5'9", and I definitely do not need every section installed, so taller users should have plenty of length to work with. The achilles heel of this rake is the way the rake head attaches to the pole. It is secured by a small threaded bolt, and I could never get it tightened enough to feel truly solid. If you tighten it too much, it starts to bend the mounting area on the rake pole. If you do not tighten it enough, the rake head wobbles back and forth. That makes me question how well it will hold up over time, especially with heavier yard work. There may be a way to improve it with something like a hose clamp around the connection point, but I have not gone that route yet. It is also heavier than most basic leaf rakes, so if you are using it for a big cleanup, it can get a little fatiguing. The additional items it comes with are a nice bonus, they look well built, but we don't have leaves on the ground now in New England so I haven't had a chance to try them out.

This kit is three items is a fantastic value for anyone who does yard work! If you're tired of flushing money down the endless pit paper lawn bags then this tough, reusable bag is worth the price of the entire set! Isn't it a cheek that we have to pay to purchase bags that advertise whatever store we get them from? The good news it that this bag will last a very long time, and individually pay for the entire set multiple times over in the saving you'll get on paper lawn bags. Not only that but it is much easier to load, and just as easy to unload thanks to the spring rod that holds the bags mouth wide open. And if the bag isn't enough the set comes with a super long and length adjustable high quality debris take. It also includes oversized gloves to speed up loading your piles of yard waste into the bag. It is a fantastic value and will make an excellent gift for those you know who love yard work as much as we do.

This heavy duty metal rake set for under $30 is a great addition to my garden finds. The rake is adjustable to your height, or reach. Which helps when my husband want to rake foliage out of the lake. The extensions gives the rake a long reach. There was some assembly with the rake, but it was mostly like a puzzle. You just screw the sections together. The bag is one of the sturdiest yard bags I come across. It can be used multiple times. It is very easy to clean with just hand wash, rinse, and lay flat to dry. You also get some had rakes to help scoop more yard waste, making the job faster. I highly recommend this yard set. It will cut the time and cost of cleaning up your yard.
