Terrible mistranslations
This gets two stars instead of one only because the weird mistranslations are hilarious. Ordered this quickly to help my little girl do a project about pigeons and it was almost worth the price for the laughs, but I don't recommend it. Evidently the words for "pigeon" and "bathroom" are very close in Arabic and that is only the tip of the iceberg of weird issues with the language in this book. I bought this book to learn about pigeons but it seems to be a horrible translation from another language. It doesn’t make sense and I can’t decipher it. It left me annoyed and confused. Buy it and read it if you want to read nonsensical descriptions about hundreds and hundreds of different kinds of pigeons. ... show more
