This is much easier than the bag version. But I wish it fit 8 oz bottles this fits 4 oz bottles just fine. If I can find a 8oz bottle sanitizer that would be awesome. Great product. Been using for a couple of months highly recommend.

My son prefers Dr. Brown's bottles. He was in the NICU for two weeks and this nipple is similar to the one he used there (Similac standard). So, for the bad parts... this sterilizer is large, it takes 5 minutes at minimum, and you can only put 4 bottles in it if you go by the instructions. My son goes through 7 a day, so I do two steaming sessions. For the good, it seems to do a great job and goes well with the Dr. Brown bottle system. I especially like the tongs that come with it. My lid id blue and my tongs are completely white, so I think they have updated it a bit. I always rinse the bottles right after use, run them through the dish washer, then put them in the sterilizer. It is probably excessive, but it gives me piece of mind that the bottle is clean. This is important because the vent has so many small crevices. You don't have to wait 10 minutes before taking off the lid, but I would wait a few so you don't get a burn on your hands or face from the steam. I use this occasionally, use the bags frequently, and boil every so often. I would buy it again. ... show more

This is the easiest product to sterilize bottles. All you need is this great steamer and a microwave! This works best with Dr. Brown's bottles but I have used other bottle brands and it worked just as well with them!
