Bought the purple 48x24. The color is actually a lovely lavender - until you get it wet, then it's the vibrant purple. I use for travel because it's light weight. I'd suggest a size larger for a bath towel. Microfiber feels great on the skin but be aware it does "stick" to you a bit as you're using it.
