The entertainment center is great quality for the price/style and pretty easy to assemble! It did take a bit of time, but the directions were easy enough to follow. The sliding doors hide the DVD piles and toys and we added two 8x10 wicker baskets from Target which fit perfectly on our bottom shelf for more organization. UPDATE : After a couple months we've had some issues with the middle back panels popping out. Maybe we have too many cords going though? For some reason there are two small panels on top of each other instead of one large one. They are a bit flimsy and hard to get back into place when the top of the entertainment center is secured. We will probably have to remove the top and glue the panels in the slots. ... show more

Until my part is replaced I won’t change review. I cannot get past step 2- part 11 defective . Extremely disappointed, there’s no number to call, no e mail and Amazon only gives an option to return. It was heavy so I had to cut open to get box open . Update- I did get the part as promised by the seller and they sent it quickly. There were some dings in the pieces which was disappointing but it’s sturdy. It is a lot lower than I thought it would be. I changed it from one star to 3. There was just too many defects for me to rate any higher. ... show more

As my boyfriend sat back and watched tv (it’s a 65” TV) i assembled this tv stand. Only one time did i need him to assist me in moving something so i had more space. I love it! It was fairly easy for me to assemble myself (5’1 - 20 y/o) although I believe there was a piece or two of hardware missing. It’s ok though, because it wasn’t detrimental to the structure of the tv stand. It looks gorgeous. We have a 65” TV and it fits perfectly. Plenty of space for a sound bar on the front and a surge protector on the back. Lots of storage in the shelves. I was looking for a tv stand for a few weeks and this was perfect. (Reviewed by Erika’s husband Bill). First, the good. For something made entirely of MDF, the finished piece is surprisingly good-looking, and sturdy. With the exception of the wooden dowel pins (see below) everything fit together perfectly and assembly was straightforward. The sliding doors work flawlessly and did not require any fine-tuning. All of the little wooden dowel pins that help connect the various panels were too small for the pre-drilled holes and simply flopped around when I first put them in. I solved this problem by cutting little pieces of gummed packing tape which I then moistened and wrapped around the pins to increase their diameter. It took a bit of experimentation to determine the right amount of tape to use, but eventually I got it right. Still, it suggests someone in the manufacturer's QC department was asleep at the switch. One other, minor beef: The back panel for the central compartment is quite thin and not well secured to the other components. As a result, the wires coming out of the back of my receiver are pushing against it and causing it to bow outwards (even after using L-plugs). This could have been easily avoided by having a couple of additional connectors to attach the back panel to the surrounding pieces, or just using a thicker panel. My biggest frustration with this item, and the basis for the 3 rating rather than a 4 or a 5: The package arrived badly damaged and when I opened it one of the key components (the bottom panel) was dented and unusable. While a seller cannot necessarily be held responsible for what happens during shipping, I would characterize the packing materials as inadequate for the size and weight of this product. The corrugated cardboard was flimsy and rather brittle, and the same was true for the styrofoam pads inside. I contacted the seller and asked for a replacement part to be shipped ASAP. They agreed to this with no quibbling (and put through a small goodwill adjustment as well), but the part took over a week to get here. The package arrived in perfect condition, but lo and behold, when I opened it, the part was again dented! As far as I am concerned, this is just inexcusable – to ship an already-damaged part as a replacement on a warranty claim. So I again contacted the seller and they again agreed to ship a replacement part. This time it took over two weeks, and based on the tracking information, it appeared the item may have been sitting on a shipping dock for the better part of this time. (It took a further email from me to actually get things moving.) Believe it or not, this replacement part also had a small dent on the corner but fortunately I was able to flatten it out with a clamp and some glue. At this point I simply didn’t have the stomach to endure a third replacement shipment. I am generally happy with the finished product but would describe the overall after-sale experience as maddening. Elapsed time from placement of the order to receipt of acceptable parts was five weeks, which IMHO is just unacceptable. ... show more

Please save yourself time and money and do NOT order this product. The instructions are poorly written and misidentified and the quality of materials is substandard and sorely lacking. Cheap, particle board, pressed veneer at best. The cam bolts and screws broke away from the boards several times during assembly. Even if I had managed to complete it, I would not risk jeopardizing my TV, home theatre sound bar and DVD player by placing them on it. Run, don't WALK away from this one! ... show more

Believe the majority! This time anyways, the risk was worth it. Material was not flimsy or damaged and it arrived earlier than expected (I mean it is painted and textured particle board but cmon you’re not exactly going for expensive mahogany if you’re here). Everyone I’ve shown it to is impressed and loves the aesthetic. The instructions were easy to follow and only extra tool I needed was a screwdriver. If I can build it then anyone can. Was worried when I read the lower reviews, but I’m glad I ignored them! Once it was all put together there weren’t any loose or offset pieces, all the bolts tightened nicely to make a sturdy entertainment center. All I can say really is buy this item if you need a shelf below or supporting a tv. I’m in love with it, 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Didn’t feel like a knockoff purchase, cheaper and easier than ikea without a high price tag. Do it, go for it. And if the shipping price scares you off just remember that other items are more expensive as a base price and it pretty much evens out. Worth it in my opinion. ... show more
