I honestly did not know that Rain-X made a washer fluid additive. I recently came across something else new to me: Washer fluid tablets. You drop them into a gallon jug and fill it with water and bam! washer fluid. So I figured I'd look to see if this exists and it does. Now I'm making washer fluid for probably 1/10 the price and I don't have to apply the Rain-X separately.     • Rain glides right off
I work construction and do a lot of highway driving to get to different jobs it's. I add this to washer fluid and when it starts to rain I just hit the washer and let the wipers go for a few seconds and at highway speed rain beads up and flies off windshield instantly. Most of the time wipers aren't even required. It works much better at higher speeds so people who mostly drive in the city probably wouldn't see the benefits as much. ... show more

hate the fact one wiper (Ds) has harden it's flexible, leaving a water residue after wipe. A danger for viewing while driving. washer fluid used causing the water beading just to roll up the windshield until nearest supply of windshield wipers was located.
