  • Great for son with Down syndrome
Style: Classic Walker
Our 2yo son has Down syndrome and his PT recommend we get him a toy walker. This one is heavy enough that he can pull to stand without the walker flipping back on him. And the clickwheels combined with use on carpet keep it from rolling too fast. This still rolls a little fast for him on a hard surface, although heโ€™s gotten better at navigating hard surfaces after getting used to the walker on carpet. I do wish it were easier to steer this; right now our son can really only push it in a straight line. But overall our son likes this walker, and his mechanics have improved significantly since we got it. ... show more

  • She loves it
Style: Activity Walker
The wheels can be a bit of an issue but others have written about it. She's about 13 months old and has gotten the hang of using it. She seems confident and the walker is very sturdy. Great product.

  • A small tweak in the directions would make assembly more assured
Style: Activity Walker
The overall poduct is good, and I was really impressed with the customer service, but they really need to alter the assembly directions. I'm really good at assembling things, so I poo-pooed the other reviewers who had issues. And having read them, I was aware that there was potential to put the wheel on the wrong axle. But the directions make zero distinction between the two boomerang shaped side panels. If they'd only labeled them A and B.... In retrospect, I should have realized they are mirror image, not identical and they do show a cartoon of each x1, rather than x2. So when it shows a cartoon of a hand hammering on the wheel on the axle closest to the R at the end of "Radio Flyer" written on the side panel, but they have no further instructions for the second panel, I followed that step twice. My baby was screaming and grabbing at my hammer, I duplicated the same step, since it was implicit by leaving out the second half of that from the instructions. It didn't take long to realize that the mirror image side needs the wheel at the beginning R of "Radio Flyer." The boomerang shape is not perfectly symmetrical. So the wheel I mistakingly put on the front (or back, I forget) had to come off. The washer on the hubcap locks and customer service saved me from myself. I was going at it with a flathead screwdriver, but not the correct way. I nearly broke it. They sent a video, showing me how to get the washer off, and sent the one dollar value hubcap out to me free. FYI, you can purchase a new wheel too on their site. Assembly was delayed a week and was easy to solve after that hiccup. The walker may not work out as a walker, though. It's fairly short in height. Which might be okay if my son made immediate use of it, but the resistance on the wheel isn't quite enough to keep him from face-planting. Maybe in a month, we'll try again when he is closer the walking. ... show more

  • Child loves, Not the quality I expected
Style: Activity Walker
I want to start with how much my child LOVES this toy. He spends lots of time pushing it around and gets excited when he sees it. He enjoys all of the activities on the front. It makes a little clicking sound when he pushes it that he loves and I also find very cute to hear him coming around the corner. I was disappointed in the quality. I thought this would be entirely wooden. The front panel is wood with plastic activity toys. The whole rest of it besides the handle bar is plastic. All of the graphics like the Radio Flyer logo and ABCD images are cheap stickers on there as opposed to printed on. The stickers aren't put on well and have bubbles in them and are already beginning to peel. I expected better quality from this brand name and for this price point. ... show more

Got this for my 1 year oldโ€™s birthday and it was an instant hit! I also watch an almost 2 year old occasionally and itโ€™s his favorite toy, too!

  • Well made and room to haul our grandson's IV bag, which can't get separated from him (one yr. old)
Style: Classic Walker
Its well-made, but would be better if the front wheels turned. It goes in a straight line really well, but when you run out of room, he's stuck and we need to fix the direction. My son-in-law is going to try to add rotating wheels in the front.
