Blew my radiator on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel... 215,000 miles and trailering a boat. Original radiator cracked on the top left side, so we were able to nurse it another 200+ miles to the OBX by watching the temp gauge and stopping roughly every twenty minutes to add water and ordered this radiator via Amazon while on our way. Bought the tools I needed from Auto Zone (crappy quality so I returned them when done). Had it delivered to our vacation rental and installed it the day it came. Thank goodness this can be replaced without needing to raise the vehicle, as the R-class sits very low. A little cumbersome to disconnect the intercooler, P/S cooler, and condenser from the radiator, but it all went smoothly and we enjoyed our vacation... and the ride back home! So far so good. The radiator shipped quickly and arrived ahead of schedule, which was a pleasant surprise. As other reviewers stated it’s thinner than the original OEM radiator. That being said it’s performing very well. Perfect fit on a my 2010 Mercedes GL450. It was quite the process getting the old one out, etc. Just take your time and it can be done! Huge savings. Got me one them gl 450s… took me cuple ours butt got tha thang n it… little thiner than tha stock one butt holdin temp jus fine… tha shop wanted ta charge 1000 dollers fur this job… I sayd no wey imma payin that… gud thang I didint well gud produkt ta bye … hop this reeveew helps yall folks!

Yes, it's around half the thickness of the stock radiator but seems to work well. The fitment was perfect and seems to be a high quality radiator. Hope it lasts as long as the stock unit.
