This adaptor is much better than the one that I bought from a Mini Split mfg. when I combined with the sale. Has a gasket at the tip which help keep the gases from blowing out when you disconnect. Also, it keeps the device from pushing too far and too hard on the pin inside the gas port. If considered that pin is just like a bike tire valve. Oversimplification on my part but you will get the idea. Don't bend the pin in the gas port! A very good product.
