The media could not be loaded. This little handheld rock! I've been debating weather on ordering one and they had this purple see-thru case option handheld available to order and without hesitation I placed the order. I definitely don't not doubt my decision. With over 15,000 of preloaded games it's endless fun anywhere you go at anytime. The purple case it such a nice touch and gives it that modern stylish look to it. These are very affordable to own and your owning a handheld that I assure you will keep forever and pass it down to your child or grandchildren. Being an old school gamer I appreciate the R40S since it comes with pretty much almost every arcade you can think of. All those quarters spent if I would have known later in life they would make something like this I would have probably sent the quarters anyways lol. Your not stuck with just arcade games you have around 20 or more consoles to choose from. The screen is gorgeous! It might be small on the picture, but the screen is a crystal clear 3.5 inch display and the sound makes the games shine on this device. The battery is replaceable which is great if you decide to keep it for a life time. The only downside is that the interface can be a bit clunky. I had a difficult time learning how to exist the games and kept fast forwarding them instead, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a fantastic device. Great value for the price!

Usually when you get a retro console, the games are in Japanese or Chinese or the graphics are not great. This one is really amazing. The graphics and UI are phenominal! Looks really crisp, sound is great and the processing is really smooth. I wasn't expecting much, but there is nothing I haven't liked about this. Games play like the originals, the controls are great and I'm able to play Playstation, N64, NES, Sega, etc with ease. Only thing I'd like is that the games were alphabetized. But they do contain a "favorite" option once you know which ones you like and want to play more often. If you're thinking about getting a retro console handheld - this is really to be considered, especially because of the screen quality.

The description says there are over 20,000 games. Of course, many are different versions of the same game, which allows me to find the familiar version I used to play. This is important for a nostalgic experience.
