• Quarter inch, its a cinch. Thanks to the compost's high nutrient value, all it takes is roughly a quarter inch layer to the base of existing gardens, plants, or lawns for results to show. If you have new projects like replanting you can add slightly more to mix in with new soil.
• Low odor. Our organic compost goes through a complete composting process. During the composting process, the compost is getting aerated constantly helping burn out bad bacteria and potential weed seed from making its way through. The end result is an earthy and soily scent making it ideal for indoor use.
• Moisture retention. The compost helps lock in and keep your plants or gardens moist for longer periods of time. This will help reduce the amount of times you will need to walk out and water, potentially saving you time and money.

Don’t worry about any manure smells when you use it indoors, Due to the complete composting process the end result has a fine earthy, and soil scent that not even your pets will detect. The organic compost also does a great job of retaining moisture for the project at hand which can help lead to less frequent watering, saving you time and money. Our 10lb bag covers roughly 15 sq. ft. and can be reapplied after each harvest, whatever you don’t use just roll up and store somewhere shaded and it will be ready for the next project. A quarter inch and it’s a cinch. If you have existing gardens, trees, flowers, etc. you only need to apply roughly a quarter inch across the roots of the plant or until you cover up the existing soil then you simply add water. If you are repotting or starting a new project you can add slightly more and mix in with the soil, then plant and water. We recommend a 5:1 ratio. 5 parts of the soil of your choice and 1 part of our compost. Reapply after every harvest or every quarter for the best results.
