I have this rug under my desk in my office so my feet are not on the concrete of my office floor. While it is soft and fluffy, the padding comes off the back very easily and it has no stain resistance that I can tell. I have had to spot clean it a few times already because something was spilt on it or my puppy had a accident on it. If you dont need stain resistance, then this is a good rug for you.
