    • the brass ball-end piece was missed pressed

The brass ball-end piece that is press fit into the base was miss pressed causing the brass ball end to fall out. We fixed it by sanding the groves off of the brass and sanding the burr on the inside of the base so that the piece could be pressed in correctly. Made in China, I guess someone was worried about getting production done before the Chinese New Year. ... show more

I should have read the reviews. The tips are not aligned, and because of the rather fragile looking weld holding them to the pivot I am a bit leery about attempting to correct the issue. I will probably buy a nicer one to work jewelry with and put these in the garage.

The little ball soldered/welded on the end of the tweezers is very soft and bends way to easy. I know that it will break off after a few more uses. I understand that you must remove the pressure when you operate the position. Regardless it is not a solid fitting.
