I purchased this to help me with night-time birdwatching. There are quite a few species of local birds that are only active during dusk and night. Binoculars, even the most expensive ones, have a difficult time during dusk and beyond. I'm hoping this will help me view some of the more elusive species to me to add to my "life list". It's really cool that you can take photos while viewing, which obviously isn't a thing with binoculars! It's really critical when learning birdwatching to be able to collaborate with more experienced birders to help with identification so this is an amazing feature. I was really impressed with the packaging of this item and the carrying case. Your night vision goggles with be super safe and protected in the fabric-lined carrying case. The item itself works great and although I haven't tested it in birdwatching yet, I did IMMEDIATELY test it in my very dark basement. I was a little skeptical before purchasing these Day/Night vision binoculars but thought I would buy them and if they did not meet my expectations then I would simply return them and get my money back, but to my amazement I was completely blown away by these binoculars. It takes both still photos and videos in both Day and Night vision modes and the quality is really good. The zoom is decent for the price point. The battery lasted a fairly long time which was great and switching between modes was easy. It comes with a 32GB microSD card but can take a larger capacity card up to 128GB. The device has a tripod socket on the bottom, so you can mount it for greater stability if you're taking photos or video. The media could not be loaded. I really like this device because it takes good pictures and videos far, it’s really nice but I do not know about night vision because maybe I do not know how to use it yet. Maybe they should create a video to explain us with examples.
