I could write pages of backstory here - but it boils down to this - I recently heard a story on my local public radio station about the pandemic related increase in the popularity of weighted blankets - - Hmmmmmm. Maybe it was my lack of sleep the night before - but something about that story stuck in my head - for days. I've always liked snuggling under heavy quilts (though I live in a climate where that's not practical) and several dogs I've known and loved have truly appreciated their thundershirt (my girl ate hers.....) - One night, not long after hearing the story on the radio, I was again awake with insomnia and decided to take a chance. I looked at lots and lots and lots of them online. I stayed awake thinking about it for hours (okay, so I was awake anyway - but I still thought about the blanket a lot during that time. ) - and I finally decided to make the purchase. Amazing. Delightful. Lovely. Restful. Wow. - I cannot recommend it highly enough. - 10 stars would be closer to how much I love my blanket. - I stick my foot out when I get too warm - it's soft and really just perfect. - I woke up in the middle of the night and thought - Hmmm, the blanket is supposed to be, ah........." - havent even woken up in the middle of the night since then. - If you're reading this review - just buy the blanket already. - you'll be glad you did. ... show more

Yes, the packaging was weird and looked exactly how some people posted pictures of - incorrect spellings on insert and the bag not closed. This is why I don’t care. I put this in my washing machine on hot. I’m sure I wasn’t supposed to do that, but I share this because it didn’t ruin the blanket. Each square is sewn to the other side, so the glass beads that feel like sand stays in each pocket. Washing it didn’t tear any part of the blanket, which to be honest, I am partially impressed and partially bummed due to curiosity, because I want to see if the weighted part truly is tiny glass beads. Last night was my first time sleeping with it— I had it on TOP on my comforter and it only lasted a few hours until I felt like I was flaming hot. I am currently using it while sitting on my chair and it has the equivalent therapeutic affect of my dog laying on my lap. It is soft, but since I could see this being a pain to wash all the time, I recommend to get a duvet cover, as this blanket nicely provides the loops for that option. I have a duvet cover on the way and I am super stoked for this weighted blanket for lounging and naps. If anyone ended up seeing the insides, please share. ... show more

I bought this for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! He can’t sleep without it and even took it traveling with him! He says he sleeps much better with it, even in the summer :D we totally recommend this product!

Bought Nov 2019, so almost a half year with it so far. 5"2' 140ish and I got the 15lb. If I didn't have 3 cats (two of which are a little over weight) that sleep on me at night, I'd have gotten the 20, but that's personal preference. 20 plus the cats would be suffocating! As far as quality, it's awesome! I bought a cover to go with it to keep it clean since washing one is difficult. Top sheet on me, blanket on top sheet, then comforter on top that when needed. It's actually been helping keep the sheet in place when my hubs moves around and tries to steal blankets in his sleep. And the price?! "If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't." Not the case here. This is one of the lowest prices I've seen and it's worth every penny! It's just so comfy. Weight distribution stays great. I'm so happy with this purchase, and I've sent the link to numerous friends and family since it's such a great deal and product. Thank you Qusleep! I'll update around the year mark in Nov 2020, provided the plague hasn't wiped us all out yet... ... show more

    • Great blanket for the price! Just be aware of the size
This is a great little blanket. I wanted to use this for a fair amount of time before I gave it an honest review. What I enjoy about the blanket: It’s durable and has been washed many times already in my house. Our little daughter has had a couple of pee accidents near it and it cleans so well in the washer. I just hang dry it and by the next day it’s good to go. The feel of it, it’s soft but I suggest you buy a duvet cover with it. My 8 year old son loves this blanket so I’ll buy a larger one for myself sometime soon I’m sure and give him this one. What I dislike: the size.. this is my fault though, not the seller. Just be aware you realize it’s a very tiny blanket. It only comes right over my body to the bottom of my chest and I’m a 5 ft 6 average size female. I prefer it to be just a smidge larger but for the prize I paid it was worth it. Overall it’s a good buy for the price. ... show more

    • Too much packaging.
I like the blanket just fine but the packing was absurd. The rather small blanket was in a huge box with 20 feet!!! of plastic pillows wrapped around it and then several other layers of plastic wrapping around the blanket it's self. What a waste of cardboard, plastic and landfill.

    • Works Great for my Mother with Dementia!
I bought this for my mother who has dementia. She was frequently waking up at night and wandering around our home. I noticed that when I put a heavy quilt on her she was much less anxious, but was also very hot. I decided for this price it was worth giving this a try. It was a game changer in our house! Since I started covering her with this at bedtime she is sleeping through the night without tossing and turning. Therefore, so am I. The material is very soft. We've have had it about 6 weeks and I just washed it for the first time. I threw it in the front load washer with cold water and low spin. I did do one more drain and spin cycle as it was still very wet. I draped it over my patio furniture to dry and it's in perfect shape. ... show more
