I see a lot of people leave reviews saying that they purchase these sets for their kids a lot like their teenagers, but I am 35 and I really think the set can be used for anybody in any skin type! My skin was glowing and really looked good after using all of the products! I would definitely purchase other products from them in the future! The Sakura Collagen 8-Piece Skincare Set makes a great first impression. It comes nicely packed in a ready-to-gift box, with each product individually wrapped, which feels thoughtful and convenient if you’re buying it as a present. The blue and pink packaging is cute and eye-catching, and I also like that the set includes all the core steps for a “glass skin” routine—cleanser, toner, serum, eye cream, and face cream—so you don’t need to buy anything separately. The extras are a fun bonus too: a headband, hair clip, and a small scrubber tool help round out the experience and make it feel like a complete starter kit. That said, the set isn’t without its downsides. The cherry blossom scent is very strong, and since I’m not a fan of floral fragrances, it was a bit overwhelming for me. I was also confused by the fish-shaped squishy scrubber brush—it has holes but comes with no instructions, so it’s unclear how it’s meant to be used or what purpose it serves. While these aren’t deal-breakers, they do make the set feel more novelty-focused than practical. Overall, while I appreciate that this set includes everything you need at a budget-friendly price point, it feels more geared toward pre-teens or teenagers just starting out with skincare. The cute design, scent, and all-in-one approach make sense for that audience. However, I don’t think this is a great option for adults, particularly those with mature skin or more specific skincare needs. It’s fun and accessible, but not something I’d personally reach for long-term.
