  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice greenhouse kit.
Size: 20' x 10' x 6.6' Color: Green
Now I don't understand why everyone is having issues assembling this greenhouse, because I assemble it SOLO in 2.5 hours, and the only reason it took that long, was because I wasn't in a hurry. I did ask for help putting the cover on,so I didn't tear it anywhere, but other than that 5 minutes of assistance, I did assemble this by myself. Read the directions... then re-read the directions. Before you start, take inventory to ascertain that you have all the parts... now, assembling the frame seemed very straight forward to me, but I personally decided to wrap all the bolts with electrical tape for 2 reasons: to keep the little plastic bolt covers on, and to (theoretically) protect the cover from snagging on ANYTHING. This is not mentioned in the directions, and seemed intuitive to me, but MAKE SURE you have all the bolts pointing in, to prevent snagging/rips/tears. I also bought some 18 inch rebar stakes to tie it down. They're shaped like a shepherds crook (candy cane), so the hook part goes over the bar, and holds it down tightly. I also used some heavy paracord type rope, and ran 3 anchor lines over the top, securing the ends with more rebar stakes. I used 16 stakes altogether, and a package of 20 stakes were like $40, but the greenhouse was almost $200, so I don't mind spending a bit more to help protect it. Also, as you can see, I bought 12- 60lb bags of tube sand to help hold down the edges. If Mother Nature wants my greenhouse, she's going to have to send a tornado 🌪🙄! So far, I'm impressed with the quality/sturdiness, and ease of assembly, and I gave it 5 stars on that alone, but the jury's still out on the durability factor 🤔. All in all, as this greenhouse was top of the list in a top 10 Google search, seems well made, and sturdy, went together easily, Ican say YES I recommend it, and YES, if I need another one at some point, I'd happily buy it again.👍🏼👊🏼😎☕️ ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars So far, it's great
Size: 20' x 10' x 6.6' Color: White
We put it together about a month ago- beginning of May 2023. So far it's holding up well. We've had several rain storms and no problems. The frame is not a thick frame. It's not flimsy, but could be stronger. The cover is great so far. We placed this greenhouse close to our house on the north side because we get really strong winds in the winter. We purchased a 12.5' x 27.5' Duraweave geotextile woven ground cover and put it down first under the frame. That left and extension of a little over a foot on each long side and about three feet on each end. My husband then secured the entire bottom of the frame drilling and bolting it to the flagstone on our patio. He will add two inch wide strapping over the top hoops closer to the fall to make sure the cover stays secure through the winter. I am hoping it will make it through the winter and will update on that. I like the roll up mesh doors. I use a thick heavy duty cardboard tube to roll up the outer door before securing it with the clips. This makes it a lot easier to roll it up. The mesh door rolls up easily without a tube, but the full plastic roll up door is to wide for me to roll up without the tube. Performance wise, there is plenty of room inside. All of my plants are doing great. If this one holds up well, I plan to purchase another one next year to have two greenhouses to grow in. If I discover any problems over the course of the next few months i will update this review. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Not sturdy at all even with reinforcements - UPDATE
Size: 20' x 10' x 6.6' Color: Green
UPDATE: The seller contacted me and were very gracious and sent a new tent. I will be able to use the plastic from the new one, my other one was torn in several spots and would take a lot of work to repair. I changed my review from 2 stars to 4 because they sent another one very fast and made sure to accommodate me in anyway they could. I read all the reviews for every greenhouse that is listed on Amazon and this one had the best reviews by far (within reasonable price). Even when it comes to sturdiness, this one had overall good reviews. Most of the bad reviews stated that it cannot withstand wind on it's own at all. I headed that warning because we can occasionally get 10mph winds. We put it together over the course of a couple days and, although the instructions weren't great, once we figured it out, we got into a groove. After it had been assembled, I absolutely fell in love with it. I thought it was big and seemed to hold down on it's own despite some wind. However we wanted to play it safe and go ahead with added stability. I went to Lowe's and picked two 80lb bags of Quikrete and two 6ft timber poles to create support beams for the top of the arch. Additionally, we bought more rope to secure the inside and outside because the rope that it comes with, which goes up and over the arch, seemed too small. All of this was after we added cinder blocks all along the edges of the tent. We put in the support beams, added the rope across the top of the tent, AND added more rocks to line the entire outside of the tent. Needless to say, if you see our second picture, none of that mattered. The two days we spent putting it together, the $230 the tent costs, and the extra $150 we spent on additional support all went down the drain. I was devastated and still am. I loved the greenhouse. Luckily all of my plants were okay, not happy, but okay. I would really just like to let everyone know that if you are dead set on buying this tent like I was, if you experience wind at or above 10mph, please reinforce your tent more than what we did. Not really sure what else you can do, but that will be your only hope of it still standing. ... show more
