  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Best little greenhouse
Style: Black 8.2x4.1x4.4ft
Okay, so I've tried a lot of small greenhouses. I either lose parts year to year, or the zippers fail. I got this pop-up greenhouse because it'll be easy to store, and there's only a few pieces. (You may want someone to help with the top pole. Its a little tricky). Plus, the size is amazing. Way bigger than the mini ones usually are. The quality of the plastic is better than usual too. I did have problems with the zippers. They were too stiff, the zipper pulls were breaking, and i was worried about it ripping the cover. I reached out to customer service. Pearl was AMAZING and sent me a replacement right away. I built a garden bed for it, and attached it with hooks where the stakes would have gone. We've only just gotten it set up, but I'm optimistic. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Well designed, well engineed, and fairly priced
Style: Black 8.2x4.1x4.4ft
I tend to be wary when buying products like this made in China. I have had my fair share of poorly built or poorly designed garbage. But these collapsible greenhouses are a delight. They come in a compact package, and can easily be returned to it for storage. They assemble quickly, although getting the top rod in place can be a bit tricky when brand new (push hard). The materials seem of decent quality, and the design is clever and well executed. These are not permanent, outdoor structures. But for my need - to add a few weeks to the front end of the season - they are perfect. I have only had mine up for a day, so too early to know how they will hold up, but my initial impressions of the zippers, poles, etc. are that the quality is fine for the purpose and the price. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good product that does the job
Style: Black 8.2x4.1x4.4ft
I got this product for an unusual reason compared to most: I needed a greenhouse for my compost bins during New England winters (my compost bins freeze over in the winter making them useless and also hard to add to with frozen doors). I can put two of my tumbling compost bins inside this greenhouse and for almost all the entire winter the interior was not frozen (and often plants would grow green on the ground so I could continue harvest mint!). It really does the job, is light, and the strings help you secure it to the ground/fence posts/etc. so it doesn't fly away. Overall, I'm very happy wit this purchase and the price is great for the quality. There are three more things to keep in mind. First, assembly is not hard but not very intuitive. They have a video showing you the steps to assemble and disassemble and it is pretty good as a video goes, but you still need to spend a lot of time pausing the video many times to get it right. I managed to unfold/assemble the first time without any major problems but it took a lot of time and trying to understand what the video was showing as it is too fast in my opinion. Folding this back when spring came was really, really hard: again, there is the video, but it was impossible to do what was show in the video to fold it neatly back into a small pile. I managed to fold it into a big flat bundle so it was really easy to store in my shed. So beware of assembly/disassembly as it will be a bit time consuming. But it will work out in the end. Second, snow easily accumulates on the top. This is not the manufacturer's fault per se, but if they had made the angle of the room higher much less snow would accumulate. Snow accumulation leads to sagging. Anyways, when I would be shoveling the snow around my house, I would also shovel the snow off the top of this thing and then shake it. So if it snows a lot, you should really go and clean the top before the weight bends it out of shape. Third, customer service is great via the amazon chat/message function. They were responsive and helpful. I had a broken top beam during my second winter of using it (maybe too much snow bent it and I forgot to clean during one storm, maybe defect in the manufacture, hard to know). I explained to them the problem by message and uploaded images. They were helpful and sent me a replacement beam ASAP via fedex! The customer service person name "Rainy" was the one who helped me and Rainy was awesome. Rainy ... show more

Style: Green 5.9x3x3ft
Easy to put together. Just make sure you secure it well or you’ll have a kite in high winds.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars I'm really impressed!
Style: Black 8.2x4.1x4.4ft
After reading some of the reviews I was wary if I had made a good purchase. I'm in Northern Nevada (Reno/Sparks) area and we have really strong winds and snow. So I felt we needed to reinforce the greenhouse in case of heavy snow fall. My planter boxes were 4X8 actually a couple of inches smaller. I had use sprinkler pipes to create shade for the summer heat so we left the 3 pipes in place and placed the greenhouse over the pipes, they provided extra strong support for snow since I had left the fabric tube house up through the winter and it handled the snow just fine. Once the greenhouse was in place my husband used 1/2's and nailed the sides and ends to the wood planter boxes. Even though the greenhouse came with tie-downs they were not sufficient enough to handle our winds. So far I'm really pleased, we're waiting for the first snow, but the winds have been no problem. Prior to putting the greenhouse on I planted all winter seeds and my better half put in sprinklers. Well, we had freezing nights as low as 16 and the greenhouse has performed well. Matter of fact when the days are in the high sixties I have to open the vents and sometimes the windows to cool everything down. All of my seeds have sprouted and I'll have fresh lettuce, radish and escarole for Christmas. Carrots have just sprouted so I'll have to wait until Feb/Mar for those. Another reviewer mentioned he used a single light during extra cold nights to keep the greenhouse warmer. I thought this was a good idea if your in cold winter temps. So far I have been impressed with the product, other reviewers mention the zippers breaking, I guess being a women I'm little more gentle when I use the zippers and try to open/close both sides of the window at the same time. I thought all the reviews offered good suggestions. Update, it's Jan 20, 2020, my lettuce and other vegs are doing great. Do to the cold temps at night around 22 degrees (down to 13 degrees the other night) I was concerned it might be too cold. Check the temp in the morning and the tent managed to keep my vegetables from a hard freeze. We have had snow and it had no effect on my vegs or the greenhouse. I am so pleased I want another one however, it seems they are unavailable at this time. Hope that changes because the 2 door model is not convenient to work with. You can't reach the other side of the planter without crawling inside. Overall I think with the small changes I made with the PVC poles and 1/2 boards to prevent winds lifting the greenhouse off the planter box and poles preventing collapse from snow improved the greenhouse for my location and the elements I have to deal with. Last but not least, we put a outdoor temperature Gage on a stick inside the greenhouse to monitor the temp, that also helps because the temp inside will sore to 115 daytime which means you need to open vents to let heat out. Another trick I learned for winter gardening, paint milk cartons black fill with water and let stand in the sun. Place those cartons in the greenhouse around plants and they will generate heat at night and offset cold temps and save vegs. Without a doubt this is a great product and look forward to purchasing a second when it becomes available again. ... show more
