I bought the upgraded version 3 years ago and it work great for the first year and a half (with a few modifications to keep it in place from wind and storms) The cover began to rip at the seams and the zippers all broke last summer. So this spring I contacted the manufacturer and had a pleasant experience ordering a new via email mostly because of Ivy the customer service representative I dealt with. If I could change a few things with this product first it would be better zippers that last, and I wish there would be an option to chose a cover with no windows. The windows seam to never stay shut in the slightest breeze and if you open the two doors at the end I find that gives it plenty of ventilation. Lastly it would be nice to be able to purchase replacement parts right from the website or Amazon. Paying a third party via PayPal for replacement parts is very inconvenient. All in all it’s worth it for the money and if you are able to make modifications to help keep it in place. So I give it 4 out of 5. ... show more

A traditional greenhouse of this size costs a minimum of $2,000 or more, and it’s unrealistic to expect a $200 greenhouse to perform the same as one that costs 10 times more. For what it IS, this greenhouse is a bargain. HOWEVER, it needs to be firmly attached to the ground, and the little stakes included in the kit are useless for adequately anchoring it to the ground. I actually bought this with the intent of covering it in bird netting or chicken wire 🐓 for use as a chicken run. For that use, this is perfect. I was planning to anchor it to the ground with a frame made of 2x4 around the perimeter, but didn’t have the wood yet, and it was starting to get dark. One reviewer mentioned that the cover gave it stability, and since I hadn’t built the 2x4 perimeter frame yet, I put on the cover instead. I assembled it over the weekend. It was raining lightly when I put it together, cold and it was starting to get dark by the time I finished. No one felt like making dinner so I offered to get pizza. I stopped working on the greenhouse & went to go pick up dinner instead. Big mistake !!! As I was leaving, I could hear the wind starting to blow, and wondered if that would be a problem. The winds picked up while I was away, and by the time I got home, the wind had caught it, turned it over, moved it 15 feet and several supports were bent in the process. That was MY FAULT 100%, not a defect of the greenhouse in any way. My installation advice: 1) plan where you’re going to put it & thoroughly plan how you’re going to anchor it to the ground. 2) prepare & level the installation site 3) build the foundation, frame or whatever you’re doing to anchor it. 3) assemble the greenhouse frame on top of foundation/frame/whatever & securely attach the frame to the foundation 4) install the cover I assembled it mostly by myself, but did have help adjusting the cover. The whole assembly process took less than an hour. NOTE: This greenhouse is light duty and will NOT stand up to any amount of snow or pooling water on the roof, without significant bracing being added. ... show more

I'm 48. I put this greenhouse together in about an hour. My 13 year old daughter helped hand me pieces. I was delighted that there weren't screws or bolts. Just follow the instructions and it clicks it together. A few of the pieces had off center holes but only three overall and it didn't effect functionality. I was also delighted with the strength of the poles compared to a different greenhouse I purchased last year. It had screws, bolts, and flimsy metal poles and took forever for my husband and older son to put together while I read the directions to them. ... show more

Your friends warned you not to date them, they were nothing but trouble, and you replied, "Yeah, I know" because you did. You heard the stories and witnessed the carnage, but you dated them anyway. Maybe you were a masochist, maybe you thought you could "fix" them, or maybe you just liked an insurmountable challenge. If you can relate to that story, then this greenhouse is for you. Janky and sketchy at every turn, but you knew that, right? You read the reviews. You saw the photos. It's a $200 greenhouse, about 10xs cheaper than a quality greenhouse.
