Worked very well on the vinyl tiles I laid in the laundry room last year I waxed it twice and it's held up for an entire year. I will wax it again during spring cleaning but i was pleasantly surprised at how well it held up. Its still nice and glossy looking. The floor has had water spilled on it and plenty of traffic. For years, I’ve been hearing that you should not use a polish on floors, but rather just clean them. Well recently, I moved into a new apartment and found it very difficult to keep the floors looking clean even after I just scrubbed them. They were missing that shine that comes from being freshly washed. I was getting company for several days and just did not want my floors looking so dull. I purchased this despite being told not to polish floors. Please, do not listen to other people, but get this polish. Without question, it will make your floors after washing look brand new. There is no slick. There is no slipperiness. There is nothing other than a very nice glean and fresh look on the floors that makes you feel you could sit right on them without hesitation and walk away with no dirt whatsoever on you or your clothing. And there wouldn’t be any! I am crazy, in love with this polish. I put it on at night before I go to bed, because it does need to dry. When I wake up the floors are glistening and makes everything look so much better! And the shine last a long time. It’s been six months and my floors look like I did them yesterday. Amazing product! I am surprised at some of the negative reviews, describing layers of cloudy finish flaming and chipping off. I suspect that this is due to overuse and/or incorrect application. I will share how I applied this product and details on my floors. It has been the best thing I have done for my hardwoods! My floors- oak hardwoods original to my 1993 home. Sealed with what appears to be a regular oil based polyurethane. Floors are starting to show some wear and tear. They are not to the point where refinishing is necessary, but I do have many scratches, and a few pits and warping. Most of all, they were getting hard to keep clean. I read several very favorable reviews of this product on blogs and websites and decided to give it a try. The process: I followed the instructions to the letter. I made sure my floors were perfectly clean and dry by vacuuming, sweeping with a dust mop, mopping with bona cleaner, allowing that to dry overnight, then in the morning, dry dust mopping again. I was now ready to apply the Floor Finish! It sprays on and I used an o cedar flat microfiber mop to spread it. This did ruin the mop head, so when I do it again I will use an old one. I had to work fast. The product has a strong odor, not as bad as poly or paint, but more so than a floor cleaner. I opened my windows. I “painted myself out” as you are not supposed to step on it until it cures for several hours. I did this process in the morning after my husband and kids left for work and school. The instructions stated that it was acceptable to apply a second coat. I decided not to do this. After three or four hours, I replaced furniture and walked on it. It took me about one hour max to apply to approx 500SF of wood flooring. Honestly, the prep took much longer. The results: the floors immediately looked shiny and lustrous! They weren’t quite slippery. This lasted for a couple weeks. Even more important to me than how they looked, was how they “repelled” dirt and dust. As I had hoped, they stay cleaner. I don’t have to scrub in the wood grain to keep my floors clean any longer. I can just vacuum or sweep, and other than the kitchen, I mop once a week or so. That’s it! This was back in May and it’s now August. I haven’t yet reapplied the Floor Finish. The blog reviews I mentioned earlier with good results, talked about reapplication around a couple/few months. When I do reapply, I will make sure to use the Deep Cleaner as recommended by Holloway House to remove what’s left of this Floor Finish. I have to guess that those who had trouble with this product either were using it as incorrectly a cleaning product much too often, and/or have a different type of flooring than mine. I can confidently say that this product is worth the price and then some - I would have paid five times that - and though the application process was a pain, it was worth it in the long run because I have saved an hour or two a week in cleaning my floors over a period of three months now. ... show more

I was happy when I used this product on my hard wood floors. They were clean and had a shine. But two days later I found that my mopping pads were very hard and the fibers on them were very rough and dry. I machine washed them like I usually do but to my utter surprise they were still dirty and very rough. My other mopping pads and cleaning cloths came out clean. I am so disappointed. So now I have to replace them everytime I clean my floors? Not happy. ... show more
