  • Delicious!!
Flavor Name: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I have to say, after trying MANY different protein bars I have come to the conclusion that Quest protein bars are my hands down favorite. I have a tried others, they're either like sawdust or taste like a candy bar. These have a texture and taste that is quite satisfying. I like to put them in the refrigerator and get them a little cold and a little harder to chew because it seems to be more satisfying that way. The protein content, 20 g, is pretty much the same as everything else out there. The calorie count is lower than a lot of the ones that I have tried but it's also the sugar amount that sways me. These have the protein and the very low sugar that I'm looking for. Highly recommend! Especially the oatmeal chocolate chip! ... show more

  • Pretty tasty for a protein product
Flavor Name: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
A lot of the bars have such a chalky taste and strange texture, but this one tastes better to me than the rest. I like to have these on hand as I'm doing keto.

  • Great snack for diabetics.
Flavor Name: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I discovered Quest Bars after poking around the store shelves looking for a protein bar that had little sugar (I'm diabetic) and low in fat, all least saturated fat (I'm also trying to lose weight). Finding Quest Bars are a eureka moment. Of 10g of fat, only 2 is saturated. Most of the carbohydrates is dietary fiber (14g), which is 56% of daily value. Sugars is only 2g, and Erythritol, a sugar alcohol that the body passes, is 1g. Carbohydrate daily value is a mere 7%. The main feature, protein, constitutes 20g of each 60g bar, providing the consumer with 40% if her daily equivalent. Small amounts (15% or less DV) of Phosphorous, Magnesium, Calcium and Iron) are also provided. The source for protein is dairy derived (milk protein and whey protein isolates), which if you are lactose intolerant may present a problem. Check with your health care provider. The soluble fiber comes from corn. All flavorings appear naturally derived. Sweeteners are Erythritol and Stevia, (both natural), and Sucralose. Quest Bars come in 18 flavors (an 18 flavor sampler is available through Amazon). My preference is for the peanut butter-flavored bars; also those based on cookie recipes (chocolate and cream [Oreo], oat mean and raisin, etc. The flavors are subtle, far from overwhelming. The bar flavor S'Mores tastes initially like an ersatz S'More, but as you consume the bar is basically settles down not a nondescript protein flavor that is nonetheless satisfying. I have one or two every morning for a shot of protein to get the day started when I don't have time to cook up some Canadian bacon and eggs. I've really fallen in love with Quest Bar. It is a fast and healthful way to satisfy a hunger pain while avoiding an overload for sugar and fat. Of course, if the consumer is experiencing a hypoglycemic episode, this won't help, Drive fruit juice or non-diet soft drink if you feel weak, shaky, or have other signs of hypoglycemia. But for a protein-rich (good for the brain) snack or breakfast substitute, I can't think of a better product. With so many flavor choices and Amazon's Subscription plan, in which a standing order of a box or two (there are 12 bars to a box) are sent to you automatically every month. The price is discounted and Prime members get free shipping. I highly recommend Quest Bar. ... show more

  • Bad batch of bars, gross!
Flavor Name: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
Even though these bars technically don't expire until 3/2025, they are already bad. I had just tried one of these from an actual, legit grocery store and it tasted great and was textured much like the old Power Bars - tasty and chewy. I ordered a box of these and was disappointed they had a weird texture, powdery on one side - it made me almost vomit. I don't know what kind of hell these bars have been through - floods, fires, sitting in the sun on a loading dock in the heat? Who knows? I am returning these. Yuk! ... show more
