This saddle rack is pretty frustrating to put together. It probably took me over an hour because there are so many pieces and each connection gets fastened with two small bolts. There were times I needed an extra set of hands to help hold things in place while I inserted and tightened the bolts. Be sure to read ahead in the instructions and don't assume you can do anything before the instructions tell you to because you'll be going back and undoing a lot of work. Also pay attention to the way the bars cross on the sides, if you don't line them up correctly one of the top bars won't reach and you'll be undoing a lot more work. For me the instructions were well written and easy to follow, except for my impatience in trying to skip ahead, they are better written than a lot of instructions for Chinese made items. When it's finished it's decent for a foldable saddle rack if you're wanting something you can flatten down to haul it around. Honestly for the price, time, and effort it takes to get it together you could probably construct a saddle rack from wood if you're handy at that kind of thing and want something as a more permanent fixture in your tack room. It says it has a 150 pound weight limit, and it does seem sturdy when you finally get it assembled, but that's not something I would want to test out. The size is easily big enough for an English saddle and probably big enough for a larger Western saddle too. I got it for my grandkids pony saddle so it's fine for the size and weight. The metal tubes are a little on the thin side, to the point that if you over tighten your bolts you can squeeze them into an oval shape, so be aware of this and tighten them just enough to hold. They give you just enough hardware to get the job done and no extra, so don't lose any. The quality of the nuts and bolts is very good. The finish of the metal on the rack is nice. There was one tiny spot on the bottom of one of the legs where the paint was scratched off but it's barely noticeable. The nylon webbing is high quality and stabilizes the top. If you aren't afraid to tackle a long assembly project then this saddle rack turns out okay when you're done. It does it's job at holding a saddle. If you can find one that hasn't been chopped in to so many pieces to fit it into a smaller box for shipping, then I would go that route. The price is lower than a lot of similar ones on here but I did see another that was only a couple dollars higher with much less assembly required. In my opinion they are all a little overpriced, but you know how it goes. ... show more

It arrived on time. The instructions were not great. It had about a million pieces. ( not really but close) it took about 2 hours to assemble. Then, the top bar still goes side to side so when you remove your saddle it slides, even with the straps in place. You have to slide it back before putting your saddle back on. Anyway we will drill holes in the bar and keep it because so much time was invested. Sure not going to disassemble. ... show more
